Reviews

This place scams people by creating fraudulent invoices for services never rendered. They require cash payment in full at the time of service and then months later invoice you for same items you have receipts for. There billing department is never available or responsive they simply enter a judgment on you and destroy your credit. There are many reviews online attesting to similar practices they carried out. The place is a total scam. They also know how to work the system I was all prepared to go to court with all documentation necessary to get it thrown out and 5 times I appeared missing a whole day of work and they didn't show up but there attorney conference called in and scheduled for a latter date. The fifth time the judge set it up that they were to do it via conference call so I did not have to keep taking days off to wait around in court. They continued to reschedule these as well and every month I would make sure I was available this went on for another year.  Then one month they were supposed to call me at a specific date and time to do the hearing by conference call but they never called me at the expected date. I later found out they had requested a physical appearance 3 days before our scheduled conference call and never sent me my notice and due to my lack of appearance they won the judgment. As I said this was all done with this intention of working the system they knew had I appeared I had all documentation to prove I had already paid all these items as I had always requested specifically a receipt when I paid and save the little pieces of paper there receptionist had written out by hand and signed. Most people they get by not providing receipts when they pay but I insisted on it but unfortunately they still knew how to work the system to there favor and not wanting to hire an attorney and waste money defending myself I got railroaded. Don't let this happen to you this place is horribly unprofessional anyways the main therapist Larry Kane is a total joke and always late usually on the phone or computer during your session and smokes in a non-smoking building while seeing you even though it is against health department code.  In the local community I have heard countless other tales of scams Larry Kane has perpetrated everything from working out deals with patients to work on his home and then never paying them to extorting them from not coming after him or he will sue them in court for a bunch of made up invoices from his clinic to trying to get them in legal trouble for confidential information shared in their sessions.  This guy belongs in jail.  If you have been screwed by him make sure to file a complaint with the better business bureau it only takes 5 minutes and its one of the few avenues we have to try to stop others from being taken advantage of.  This happened to me 7 years ago and he is still scamming people to this day it makes me sick.

AVOID this place like the PLAGUE.
At least twice they have tried to send me false invoices.  First time was in 2009. They sent us bills with dates of service doubled. Literally would show a date of service twice, with two charges. After MUCH fighting back and forth, them threatening to ruin our credit, we paid most of the over charge. They never sent anything to our insurance until after they collected from us, then they received money from our insurance on top of our payments. We received no refund.
Now in 2016, they send me two invoices totalling $142.50 for services they claim are for my son from 2008. 8 years later they send invoices?! I don't even recall him going there. In Wisconsin the law is you can not attempt to collect on a debt that is over 6 years old. Additionally reporting to credit bureaus after 7 years is illegal.  
If the money issues isn't enough to scare you, look at the articles and other Google results  below or Google Larry Kane (lll) he is the owner of this "business". He was our counselor in 2009 and doesn't even have a license now. Nor do many of the people working for him. I am sure there are some good counselors there but to take the risk both with your emotional life and financials is too high a risk to take with this place.

I am on my son's email account. I received a $426.83 bill from this place that I never heard of and was never at. They gave me the run around for about a week when I questioned the bill. They then gave me dates and names of people I supposedly saw. I can prove that I was somewhere else on one specific date. I want to know if they are getting their information through one of the hospitals or what. I will not pay the bill and have taken legal action against these people because I believe they are a big scam and are preying on vulnerable people. Julie Olson

Receieved a bill for services for my son who has never been here nor do i know what this is for! Scam and im contacting my lawyer and the BBB how can you send someone a bill who has never been at your place nor had any services by you!!!!!

They lied about being in my insurance coverage then charged me over double what any other place would charge then told me I couldn't afford treatment with them and tried to pawn me off on another place. Refused to send me a bill or prof that I ever came there. It sad a place that is suppose to help people is really there just to take advantage of people who need help the most
