I had terrible experience with Ozaukee Community Therapies. I haven't been able to see my kids for almost 2 years. Even though the GAL ordered me to be able to have supervised visits last year. Erin Perez has plenty of time to update her Facebook every day, but takes her weeks to respond to an email. It's bad enough how the courts and the law treat fathers nowadays. Children need fathers in their lives, but apparently Ozaukee Community Therapies doesn't agree. I am a good man and a good father. I have worked with Special Need kids for over ten years, but I have been treated like I am a monster when it comes to my own children. Funny how one of the 5 star reviews is from Erin Perez's Husband, Steve Hughes and another 5 star review is from her son.
Erin Perez is terrible. She is the example of people getting into psychology purely for the money. She claims to have experience with autism/mental disabilities. I'm afraid she does not. It is a shame, because she has somehow managed to contract some great therapists with Ozaukee County Therapies. I hope her reputation doesn't varnish theirs. Please hesitate before enrolling your children in her "socialization sector". Or at least, make sure she has some background information on your child before you agree and .ale payments.
Therapists are very friendly and understanding. They worked hard to find the perfect therapist for each member of our family. Communication is great, and the progress that’s been made has been outstanding. The team at Ozaukee Therapies is top notch - and would recommend them to anyone.
If you want to be overlooked by people being trained with no real life parental experience please give them your time and Money. They have no concern for your child’s well being. If zero stars were an option that is what I would rate them. Please find any other option if you value your time with your children.
If you like not hearing from them ever and being ignored then this is the place for you. We had one visit and the therapist just disappeared. No return calls no nothing.
Erin Perez was wonderful to work with and so understanding! Really put a lot of things in perspective for me!
