Wintergreen's Golf & Grill

I've been here 3 different times and have been disappointed every time, mainly with the food. Because it's a small business i really wanted to give it a chance. But tonight REALLY was the nail in the coffin for me.nWe went out tonight to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The service was below average as they dismissed our concerns and questions, when they asked about the food I couldn't get a chance to tell them how bad it was before they walked off. When it came to paying the bill they reached in front of my face to grab it, didn't ask if we needed change and never came back. My mother was so over it all she left her half glass of wine and we left. I get dinner rushes, but come on.nnMy mother and I ordered the steak; hers medium rare and mine rare which came with carrots and mashed potatoes. When we got our food the carrots were cold, her steak was well done and mine was medium and with thick burnt crust on the outside. I would have complained but again our server didn't give me the chance and no I don't blame them for the horrible foodnThe steak lacked ANY seasoning which was disappointing because all I could taste in the one bite of it I had was burnt meat. The mashed potatoes were the only thing that was remotely edible. So in the end we paid $22 for some mashed potatoes each. I took it home in hopes I could cut off the burntnoutside and doctor it up for some steak and eggs tomorrow morning.nnI'm a firm believer that if you have bad service, the food has to be good or vice versa. It's unfortunate that both did not and have never met expectations the three times we've been here. We will not be back nor will we recommend eating here.

Stopped in quick for a drink, on my way to an appointment. It was Happy Hour, so they had 2 for 1's. I had the Blueberry Hard Cider on tap. It was delicious, and ice cold. It's not often that you find Tap beer that cold. It was Perfect. I didn't catch the Bartender's name. A shorter, older woman with glasses. She was Great. Quick service, full of Spunk, a Great asset to the place.

Food is great quantity for their prices. Service is awesome if more than two waitresses. Atmosphere is awesome inside and outside on the patio. Bingo is super terrific along with the staff.

I am Transgender and I came on Bingo Nights with my mother. Everything was great for a couple months until a bar tender approached me and commented about me using the bathroom and eluded to protecting children.nnChildren have never been in the restroom when I was using it.nnThe bartender demanded I request permission to use the restroom.nnI informed the Bar Tender I would solve her bathroom problem by not returning.nnIf you are gender diverse, do not go to the bathroom here.

Had a great friendly server who was menu knowledgeable. Food was prepared fast. I had the salmon which was great the salad was nice and fresh as well .
