We had a terrible experience ordering doors through Windsor Plywood in Burnaby. We ordered six Trimlite doors by telling the staff the model number of door we wanted from the Trimlite catalogue. When the doors arrived at our house, they were not the style we had requested! The staff did not take the care to check that they had ordered the right model of door and it wasn't obvious to us, reading the product codes on our order, which door style had been ordered. Windsor Plywood would not correct their employee's mistake, their best offer was a 30% discount if we bought new doors, but no refund on the doors that had been delivered to our house. In addition, the doors don't appear to be Trimlite doors, but instead similar doors from another manufacturer, since they aren't stamped with the Trimlite name and they look to be inferior quality, the wood seams are much more visible than they are on other Trimlite doors we have ordered. Windsor Plywood insisted that the doors are in fact Trimlite doors. Since the doors were prepaid before placing the order, and they refuse to take responsibility for any mistake in our order, we are now stuck with them. They are not the style we requested and I don't think they are from the manufacturer we requested! I am so disappointed in our door buying experience. It appears to me the staff at this store is poorly trained and management will not correct mistakes made by their staff.
