Fresh baking every day right in the heart of Huntsville!

Story

Known as the 'bakery in the woods', we offer a wide range of fresh 'from scratch' baked goods. Our wheat for the grainy breads is milled on site with our own stone mill. We offer a variety of breads, buns, and rolls. For the sweet tooth, our showcases display a vast selection of cookies, squares, and pastries i.e butter tarts, fruit tarts. And yes we do birthday cakes on order. Dutch specialties are 'boterkoek', almond rolls and rings, and apple cakes. On the savoury side we offer chunky beef meatpies, sausage rolls, and chicken potpie.

You have got to see their Lemon Meringue pies! The prices are the most modest in the town of Huntsville. But the deserts and bread are absolutely wonderful. They sometimes give you a mystery loaf if you spend more than $20 that is delicious. Nice friendly staff.

Lovely lady served us. Very pleasant atmosphere. We purchased several items and are thrilled with everything we have tried. Dutch Boterkoek is awesome. Apple beignet was delightful balance of slightly tart and deliciously sweet. Nice variety of goods. A definite must go to when in the Huntsville area.

one of the best bakeries I have been too. Apple cinnamon beignet was fantastic. bread was very nice too.

I was surprised at how competitive the bread prices were. I never really looked into it as I had the incorrect assumption that prices would be high, but they are comparable to commercial bread. Much better tasting though. I like the rye so much I haven't bought anything else since I tried it. It can get a little dangerous in there if you look at all the goodies. I like the Oatmeal Raspberry cookies myself. I would highly recommend supporting this local business. You won't regret it.

This is a must stop at bakery!!! Bake goods are very delicious. There is nothing better then home baked goodies. You can tell the treats are made with 💘.
