Whimsical Bakery

The food was fabulous. Had the Moroccan vegetable soup (to die for) and the grilled Rueben (the best I've had). A truly delicious lunch. Service was also extremely pleasant. Would definitely return next chance I get.

Dropping in to Whimsical Bakery to see what it's like inside was a great idea! Contrary to earlier comments, I found the coffee to be hot and fresh and the staff was great. Although there was a small lineup it was worth the wait. I was impressed by the selection of homemade goodies and even a lunch menu which is a bit different for a bakery. I ordered the grilled cheese and coffee and took a lemon tart and butter tart for the road. I was told they bake their bread fresh every day and that's what they use for their sandwiches - I can't remember the last time I had fresh baked bread - I think that was the secret to the tastiness of the grilled cheese. Will be back next time I'm in town!

Hands down the best bakery I have been too. The pecan sticky buns are possibly the greatest treat I have ever had. Staff is fantastic and prices are great. Wish they would open a shop in my town.

Great little bakery! The food is amazing! The apple beignets are amazing. Clean store, friendly staff, They sell Kawartha Dairy ice cream, which you can get in cookie bowls, as well and maple flavored pop. There is some room to sit and enjoy your treats. Very nice little shop!
