I am really concerned by the number of negative reviews here. Would be helpful to have staff respond to at least some of the v negative reviews - one from a physician who referred a pt. Was it someone having a bad day? I would hope a medical care facility dealing with life and death situations would weed those ppl out. But a number of one star reviews demand explanation/response from the Center. Also, if you give any organization a one star review, pls let us know what they did to merit that low a rating. Otherwise, why bother? They're not doing shoe repair. No explanation is not helpful.
I've been going to the Breast Care Center for well over 10 years. I have never ever been to a Breast Care Center that has been so amazingly friendly I know mostly all of the workers & volunteers & they always go out of their way to assist you in any way they can. Dr Cornell is absolutely fantastic as a surgeon & very compassionate with her patients. I have recommended at least 10-12 people & they all have gone there. Although not everyone gets assigned Dr Cornell, the ones that have all have thanked me for recommending her to them. I can't see why there are some negative remarks about this place. Since in all the years that I have been going there I personally have never been rushed, they always have been very cordial to me. I would highly recommend the Breast Care Center to anyone that has never been there before, or for someone that has never had a mammogram before. Thank you for all of the wonderful years of treatments & understanding when I was first diagnosed with fatty tumors & the 3 surgeries I have had & the wonderful team that has always called me back to check on me.
I have been a patient at the Winchester Breast Care Center and have received outstanding care. Due to their diligence in testing, two cancerous areas were found and removed. My surgeon Kristin Smith and all of the staff explained everything to me in detail, so I knew exactly what was ahead for me. I will continue in their care with the greatest of confidence and with gratitude.
Zero stars....I am a primary care physician and referred a patient to this center. Worst experience for my patient ever! Issues with record transfers and communication, hours spent by myself calling and my staff speaking directly to staff at center about needs and referral process. Still no appointment. They have made it excessively difficult for my patient and have delayed care by at least at least 2 months. I will NOT be referring anyone else to this center. NOT IMPRESSED.
I had a mammogram done here 5 years ago. Worst experience ever. Unbelievably painful with bruising that lasted 4 days. Finally, reluctantly, I scheduled another. Totally difference experience. Pauline took my images and I can't say enough good things about her. Wonderful bedside manner, painless, made it a pleasant experience. What a difference.
I was late to my appointment because of traffic I called to let them know. The woman on the phone was so nice she said come anyways. I got there waited for 5 minutes then an older woman was so mean to me. Said your late they may not take you. Leaves and comes back and says you have to reschedule. I drove 20 mins for this appointment. I would of turned around when I called. Happy Holidays!!
Worst clinic ever. No regard for people considering the business they are in. Always answering service picking up the call though its office hours. Inconsiderate people in terms of scheduling and when you get there they turn you down. One of these days, they will know how it is to be a patient and they better not complain if they get the same service they provide. Supposed to be open until 4:30 pm but no one is there. Office is closed!!!!!
Myself along with my mom and dad have been patients of the Breast Care Center for over a decade . My dad 16 years !!! They are all so kind from the staff to the techs !!! Dr Kelley Cornell the very best!
This place prob be the death of me someday! Miss diagnosed for 2 years DR E told me I had calcifications in a large lump In one breast for 2 years they biopsy and missed it i was told later when filed for records!! Needless to say my last 3D mammo DR E told me I was fine was still calcifications luckily I grabbed my MRI 2 months after visit with DR E .... needless to say lump was breast cancer stage 2 size 2.6 centimeters it felt like a super ball for a year and she watched it grow!!! Thanks a lot so of course spread to lymph nodes so I went threw the whole shabang! Took my records and off to MASS GEN I went I’m disgusted and I’m still suffering with plenty of side effects now on tomoxifen for 7 more years!!!! Lack of diagnosis sick to my stomach LIVE and LEARN !!! Don’t recommended this place or DR E by any means! Be aware
Been a patient here for many years. Every visit is nothing less than perfect. Everyone...Receptionist, Nurses and Doctors make you feel like they really care.
