I stayed at Willows Campground for 2 nights in a nice tent site with lots of trees to help isolate from the other campers. The campground itself was simple to find, and only a brief drive from town. It was a quiet spot, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. While I didn't explore the area heavily, there were some small ponds by the office building where I saw a flock of geese and spotted some tadpoles along the water's edge. The staff were friendly, but seemed busy, as the office often seemed deserted. My site was conveniently located next to the washrooms, however the campsite could benefit from cleaning, washrooms included. The washrooms smelled heavily, and having a shower in the same area as the sinks and stalls made everything a little damp. Those using RV's are unaffected, but as a tenter, I tried to use the service as little as possible. In the site itself, things were tidy, just covered in some wilderness. All it would take is a sweep of a broom to clear out some of the thick webbing in the electrical box and under the picnic table, and it would've made using those much more enjoyable. Overall, it was a mostly pleasant stay, and I became friends with a delightful chipmunk.
