Wildwood Farm Bed & Breakfast

I loved my stay at Wildwood Farm LLC! My husband and I have never been to Oak Harbor, and I am so glad we made the trip out there. The scenery was beautiful as we drove to the farm, and when we arrived, the scenery at the farm did not disappoint. Our room met all of our needs, and we did have a private bathroom across the hall. My husband and I enjoyed walking around the farm and looking at the goats and horses. In the morning after our amazing breakfast we walked through some beautiful trails on the property. The owner was extremely friendly and helped us out with restaurant and activity suggestions. We are planning on going back and trying the horse back riding!!!!

This was our (wife and I) first BnB experience and Greg was an exceptional host. We enjoyed everything Wildwood Farm had to offer. From the trail to all the horses and the breakfast. We will be back, for sure!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE from start to finish. The grounds were so beautiful and the house itself was pretty retro-70s chic, with tasteful world-travel art. We stayed in the double bed suite as I was traveling with my 5-year-old niece, mom and sister-in-law. The room was very nice, decorated well and according to the house's time-period, but most important, it was very clean and the beds were super comfortable and plush. The best part of staying inside the home was probably the breakfast and meeting Greg, the homeowner. He was friendly, helpful, hospitable and a wonderful cook. Absolutely fantastic breakfast. I regrettably only booked one night, which they made an exception for me because it was after summertime (usually a 2-night minimum), but how I wish I would have stayed at least 2 nights. Since my niece is very passionate about horses, we booked a 90-minute First-time Horse Experience for her (as well as a one-hour trail ride for all of us), which was awesome for a novice or someone who is interested in horses, but has no real prior experience. Included was a lesson on horses, care of horses, grooming the horse and a 30 minute horse ride in the arena with the trainer. In the beginning, my niece was petrified of riding a "big horse," but after the "First Time Horse Experience," she was like a little pro, and she had no reservations of getting on the horse and going on the forested trail with the adults, especially since the horse she rode was the same horse she worked with on the 90-minute session and by the end of that session, she was very comfortable. Being with the horses and visiting with the boarded horses was a truly magical experience that it brought tears to my eyes at one point. I'm so happy I found this place and I plan to frequent this B&B / horse farm as much as I can, especially since I live about 3 hours away. Thank you so much Greg for such an amazing experience and for the bag of apples you gave us, which BTW are some of the best apples I've ever had. Now I know why the horses are so happy there :)
