Whidbey Island Navy Lodge

The room we had was on the second floor. There was a kitchen and it was stocked with everything to cook and eat with and dish soap to clean your dishes, 2 queen size beds with 5 pillows per bed. The room was really big. Had a great view of the harbor. Not very far from the NEX. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You Can't check in until 1500 hours and the front desk is not open 24 hours it closes at 2300 hours. The building sure on top of a hill with nothing around it. Everything is at the bottom of the hill. I liked the location.

Standard Navy Lodge, which is to say an above average room at a great price. It is just up the road from the exchange, has plenty of space to walk pets, and is very quiet. It is not on the main base so there is far less traffic and noise. I highly recommend staying here vice the Gateway on NAS.

Great and helpful staff. Excellent directions to other places locally. Resource book to help further with restaurants and attractions. Immaculate.
