Wilderness Inn - The Best Lodging This Side Of Heaven!

Visited on a Friday evening with my family of 6. We arrived ~ 4 pm and spent 1 night. The room had two double beds plus two roll-away cots for our extra kids...($125). Accommodations included a TV with ~40 stations, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot. Decor is somewhat dated, central courtyard can be seen from all rooms. What we liked: large rooms, clean rooms, ceramic mugs with the coffee pot, owned + operated by local family, easily found on a quiet main street of the community. What we didn't: mattresses were disappointing; low water pressure in shower; water temperature was hot (which was good) but difficult to adjust. All things considered, a very pleasant experience in a small town. We'd recommend to friends with no reservervations.

It was clean, HUGE with our two queen beds, but very musty and old smelling. Aside from that it had a mini fridge, coffee maker, nice soaps and plenty of towels. There is a sauna on site but no laundry facilities. They do accept pets for an additional $10 per pet per night. No Continental breakfast at this small mom & pop location. Very cozy though! There is another option in town. Great bar/restaurant with excellent food and customer service and atmosphere is superb! You'll literally miss Enterprise if you blink while driving through. Also another great restaurant that serves Elk burgers and buffalo if you've never had one as well as the Mexican restaurant right next store to the Wilderness Inn!

"IT STINKS" Old out dated with smelly carpets. Tried 4 rooms before we found one that was tolerable. Stay some where else!!!

Good place to stay, they don't have a breakfast, but I took my own food.

They'd get a fourth star if the bed hadn't been so darned uncomfortable. Decor is clearly dated, but the people at the desk are helpful, the rooms are clean--the sheets and towels have that good clean smell and feel--shower was decent, and it ultimately suited my needs. For some reason I also overlooked the fact that this is a motel rather than a hotel. I was the only guest the night I stayed so being on the first floor of a motel as a woman traveling alone made me a little uncomfortable, but that was my own oversight.
