Mingo Motel

I travel a ton and have never rated a motel 5 stars we had four rooms stayed two nights and it was incredible for a small motel in a little town. The rooms and owner were perfect....Just a great stay.

Excellent stay. Very peaceful and quiet. Perfect for a great night's sleep and stargazing. Great quality-price ratio!

The rooms are nice and clean, staff is great! We planned out trip so we could stay here again.

We did not have a chance to stay there. Reason? We made reservations well in advance, forChief Joseph days, but when we got there, we were told we did not have reservations. Reason? Your guess is as good as mine, but I suspect that they realized they made a mistake on the price quoted, instead of giving us a chance, which we would have taken the higher price, not happily, but there were no other rooms in the area. We were left with seemly no place to go but after a good number of calls to other places, with the help of several other motels, which this guy didn't do at all, we lucked out. This guy offered no help whatsoever and was a bit pushy trying to get us to leave. One other problem. If your not familiar with the area, the town of Willowa and the area Willowa lake are close to 50 miles apart. The clerk should tell people this.
