The Backroads Diner

They have GLUTEN-FREE. I moved out to this very rural area and didn't even consider I'd find a restaurant with anything GF. They have hamburger buns and bread!!! :) They even knew how to heat the bun. First time in 19 yrs the bun didn't crumble was able to eat a hamburger with a bun all toppings intact till the last bit. Homemade fries, pies, and the hamburger wow. It was huge. Mine had beef, bacon, ham, egg, the most perfectly cooked onions, BBQ sauce... and with coffee and pie the total was only $15.50! Plus I had the friendliest, most attentive server and staff. Was greeted and helped right when I walked in. I live 30 minutes away but this will be my place to eat out. Really wonderful dinning experience! They also have baked potatoes with toppings, country dinners, pulled pork, sandwiches, salads, more desserts, and a separate breakfast menu served 6-11am 7 days a week. Also really enjoyed the décor with the western door, colors, bar stools, and wall hangings.

Cindy is a fantastic cook! It's always a treat to eat here! Ask for the chazzy fries with bacon and cheese with brown gravy smothered on top or the mushroom Swiss cheese burger! Yum!

The service was very poor. The waitress was a highschooler but she didn't hesitate to call me a circus clown in front of the elderly and young. The food was great.

Found it by chance on a backroads motorcycle trip and found this place it was amazing! Will be back for breakfast tomorrow for all you can eat!!

The best homemade food and amazing pies! We have been going to this restaurant for over a year and it has been very consistent. We hope they stay forever in business.
