Wild Blue is probably one of the best restaurants I've been to! The amazing service and dazzling atmosphere really enhanced the already high quality of the food. The service was impeccable from start to end and the food was always served at the perfect temperature. We ordered the dine out menu which contained the regular appetizer, a mid course, an entree as well as dessert. I especially loved their creamy pumpkin soup and fried cauliflower with scallops. I couldn't recommend this restaurant enough! I will definitely visit here again next time I come to whistler.
Had an absolutely stunning meal here, not a thing to fault. Each dish was a flavour bomb and the menu was in service to the ingredients which were all top notch including the sustainably sourced seafood. The wine list is varied with something for everyone. Service was thoughtful and kind without being overbearing. And the space is gorgeous — perfect combo of chic and cozy. Will make a beeline here the next time I’m in Whistler; the experience is unparalleled elsewhere in the village.
We had a fantastic dining experience at Wild Blue. The atmosphere is very contemporary with smart clean lines. Service was very professional ..... it was not very busy on the early side of a Sunday. The Old Fashion was expertly crafted by the bar staff with just the right balance of citrus and Knob Creek. The oysters were perfect ...chilled, fresh , with medium brine. There was a slushed spicy, ginger slush for the oysters that was unique and very tasty. The white asparagus salad was very creatively plated with just the right amount of season and dressing. The star of the meal was the 10z NY Strip. It was cooked to a perfect temperature with a great sear. All in all , it was a really special evening. It is not easy on the wallet but the experience is commensurate with the expense for Whistler.
Gorgeous patio, fantastic food, great service. Absolutely worth the visit. The dishes were small individually but when multiple are shared it was more than enough. Personal favourite was the Octopus and the truffle pasta. Expect $150+/person to enjoy the menu. Definitely order the house made sourdough.Food: 5/5
This will hands down be the best meal you'll have in Whistler. Wild Blue does everything perfectly, from the drinks and the seafood starters to the mains and desserts. Service is also top-notch. Completely wowed by this place something I didn't expect myself to say about any place in Whistler frankly. If you're visiting, make a booking. It's worth it.
We were seated in the patio and the general vibes of the place was magical. The food was amazing, our server Tommy P was attentive and gave excellent suggestions. This is probably one of the only places where I cleaned my plates since the food was so incredibly flavourful. Would recommend this place to anyone.Food: 5/5
Don’t walk - RUN here if you are in Whistler! Incredible experience at Wild Blue. Service, atmosphere, cocktails, and the FOOD - outstanding! We celebrated our anniversary here and everything exceeded expectations. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you Wild Blue!!Food: 5/5
The food was amazing! Staff was over the top, Andrew, one of the owners, was so kind and took care of us so well. Our server Josh was on top of our orders. My Wagyu was cooked to perfection. Thank you, Derek! Overall, it was one of the best restaurant experiences I have had and will definitely return! I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Whistler area
Wow, what a great experience we had at Wild Blue. I read some of the reviews on Google, and decided to give it a try. I'm very glad we did. The food was excellent. It was modern but not fussy, and everything tasted great. The service was great. We didn't get our server's name, but he should be commended. If someone from the restaurant is reading this, he was the really tall guy. We had the weekday fixed menu, and it was amazing. We opted for the steak supplement, and that was also delicious. We are looking forward to visiting Whistler and going to Wild Blue again.
I have not felt compelled to leave a review for a long time. However, tonight my wife and I had an awesome meal and terrific service at Wild Blue. We were advised by a couple of people to go and were not disappointed. We were able to have the 4 course menu they offer Mon - Thursday. The BEST value for money in a very long time. The pea/smoked black cod soup was so unique and flavourful. The asparagus salad again was unique and very tasty. The original twist was a Burrata Espuma and potato crouton. We enjoy new things and this did not disappoint. For a main course, my wife had the steelhead which she said was cooked perfectly and was a joy to the taste buds. I had the pork duo for something different, pork cheeks and crispy belly. Exceptionally done and full of flavour. Check the website under summer menu for all the details. The toffee pudding for dessert was decadent and a treat. Not something we would eat on a regular basis for sure, but nice for something sweet very sweet for us after the meal with a very nice Americano. Portions were great. Often fix price menu can have smaller portions. These seemed to be full portions and we were completely satisfied by dessert. We felt welcomed and attended to the moment we entered the door. A special shout out to Hanna, your the best, and to Mackenzie who were both delightful throughout the meal and responded with enthusiasm to our every request. Service was great, we felt very welcome and appreciated and totally looked after. While we don’t see the kitchen staff, they do their job very well. Kudos to all of you! We ate outside which was brighter than inside which we enjoyed. Other than summer snow cottonwood everywhere atmosphere on the deck was very nice. We haven’t been to a restaurant for a long time that we felt we could recommend more. FYI, wine by glass or bottle up there but no different than most in Whistler. Wild Blue is what you want when you go out for an evening. Parking: Did not realize there was parking underground there until arrived. We parked close by which was reasonable price wise, conference centre also has plenty of parking that’s reasonable.
