White Spot

We had a pleasant dinner here, when we visited Duncan over the weekend. The restaurant wasn't busy, and the staff were present to welcome us and get our orders. Menu items are all right, a little pricier than I'd hope but that's just how it is living on the island. The restaurant was dimly lit but it felt relaxing for an evening meal.nnMy shrimp Alfredo was great, and the table had spices and toppings to use. We left with a good meal, and will definitely recommend stopping here if you're visiting the Duncan area.

Went today and ordered a cheddar burger and hubby had the hearty breakfast. Burger was good...fries were cold. Hubby asked for medium poached eggs and they were hard poached and cold...so was his toast and back bacon. The smashed potatoes were good. Waiter was a nice fellow but by the time he asked us how we were doing I was almost finished burger and hubby was starving. We told him about cold food and over prepared eggs.. ..he did offer for kitchen to remake but we didn't have time to wait. He talked to kitchen and said they were only offering 15% off the bill. I felt sorry for waiter as it's not his fault about our food. But take note that the cook on that day was terrible! If you can't poached a medium egg and send out hot food you need to go back to culinary school. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

We were driving through from Victoria up island and decided to stop for lunch. We were very happy with our choices off the menu. The plates were hot! We had vegetarian options. The burgers were very taste and the Ceasar salad was fresh. We had 2 side dishes onion rings & brussel sprouts. The bathrooms were clean. Overall a really friendly atmosphere. We will return

Despite having 3 large groups, us being one of them with a basketball team of 12 year olds. The service was great, and the food was spot on. nI would say this is one of the best White Spot experiences I have had.nThank you.

The kitchen chefs cooked excellent food. So fresh and well made. Very well plated. Brenda, the server was very attentive and great energy. Staff were very welcoming. Wonderful experience.
