We have been going here for the last few years and they never disappoint. We love their spicy samosas. They are tasty, yummy, delicious and spicy! We tried Kachori’s but it was sweet so didn’t like that much. We tried their Panjiri, Khaman Dhokla, Pakoras, Patra, Bhel puri, Aloo tikki chole and everything was fresh, flavourful and delicious. Prices are reasonable. We also tried their misal Pav but it was not that good. Staff is friendly!! Overall a great place in Mississauga to grab Indian snacks. Highly Recommend!
Can’t say I have much knowledge of Indian snacks so I just ordered a piece of everything. The two samosas were still warm by time I got back home , while the others I just had to microwave it back up a bit . I don’t have a lot of experience with Indian snack foods, but they were quite good. The jelebi was quite good, it feels like the crystalized honey. The samosas and the other items were excellent too, and the price is super affordable . The shop itself is tucked away in the very back of a strip mall, so made finding it hard at first. Other than that not much to complain bout it
Visited this place first time yesterday. Sweets and Namkeen are amazingly delicious. We had Khandvi, Samosa & Sweets and they were tasty. 4 stars is just because they do not accept credit card. Only cash or Debit card are accepted. Updated: they accept Credit card after certain limits
Whenever I get a craving of tasty Indian snacks, I definitely visit this place. This is a takeout food joint. All the food varieties taste amazing but it’s their “samosas” that really stands out. They prepare it in 2 types, a regular one and for spice lovers, a real spicy one. Both of them are excellent in quality. Another popular dish here is “Vada-pav” kinda Indian burger which gets served with a spicy but delicious red “chutney”. Coming back to their core product i.e. sweets, all varieties are really good and balanced in ingredients especially in terms of sugar and Indian butter desi ghee. “Kaju katli” is one of the best among all sweets. I would recommend to visit this place if you are in and around Mississauga.
Rare to find a Marathi place in Toronto so I was super excited to try some Mumbai foods. We went on Diwali so there was a 20 min line up to get in. There was complimentary Chai tea at the entrance so that was a pretty classy move. Their Spicy Samosas were definitely the best I’ve had in Toronto. Great texture of the patty and the filling was very flavorful. They’re also the spiciest samosas I’ve ever had. So beware, even if you’re used to spicy food. The Misal Pav was made fresh to order. Unfortunately it was disappointing. Nowhere close to what you get in Maharashtra, India. The Pav was good though. Seems like it was made fresh in house. I think their other Chaat snacks will be quite good, so I look forward to trying that in the future.
The quality of food and service is getting poorer by the day. The bearded sales guy was rude and loud. I bought stuff worth less than $20 and he literally shouted and showed me the sign saying Creditcards only above $20. I had to tell him to be nice. Samosas smelt of old frying oil. They use heaps of oil in dishes like pav bhaji n patties. This was my last visit There are plenty of choices around these days
Great samosa, good vada pav and tikki chole. Very bad Raj Kachori / khasta Kachori. Gave feedback and was told we will look into it. Also asked for additional vada and if it is hot as i was okay for it to be reheated if not. But the server said that it is just of out the frying pan but when I had a bite it was cold. How could it be out of frying pan? Again they listened to my feedback but no attempt to improve my experience from there. I did not even get an apology. Overall the food was good but customer experience was below average : I expected better from them :
Diwali update: excellent service, well organized, easy to order, tasty sweets and snacks. My concern is there is no distancing encouraged in the outdoor lineups, and the owner manager doesn't wear a mask at all.
Their lilva kachori is spot on. And the affordable prices is an add on as they provide amazing quality food with it. Keep up the good work guys! Always love having gujarati snacks over here.
Samosas are must try. True spicy indian taste. They also have regular samosas too. Worth a try
