Really nice take out joint. We took home the fried king fish, curried king fish, parottas and chicken Biryani. Very happy to have found a South Indian place so close to us. Food was good. Good portion sizes and tasty. The Biryani was uniquely sound Indian. The owner was very nice to talk to.

Really good food. It has the south Indian authentic taste. We placed the order over the phone 20 mins before pick up but we still had to wait about 15 mins in store for the food. Not a super big deal. Would still come back again for food.

I had high expectations from this place. At first my experience was very bad so I gave it another try and it was little better.I even gave it a third try but my thoughts about it hasn't change. I guess now is the perfect time to review this place. First visit : We ordered Veg korma and Paratha. It was perfect because they took our order quickly and boom we get our order after 45mins but they promised it would be ready in 20. I still wanted to give this place another try since they were short staffed and service was not great. Second visit : We ordered Mysore Dosa, Mysore Masala dosa, Masala Dosa, Plain Dosa and Fish fry. I have to give it to them that the food was good and tasty. But what was familiar was the wait time. It took a long time to get our food. Third visit : We got everything above, as well as chicken curry, fish fry and this time we said we will come after 45mins. The owner said come after 1hr 30mins. I agreed but asked to make sure it will be done by then. Any guesses when did we got our food? 2 hours! This time they were fully staffed and had no reason for the wait. The owner said we make everything fresh. Does that justify 2 hours wait time? NO. I am giving them 3 star purely on food taste. Every time I ordered, the food was good, but the experience of ordering and waiting wasn't. Even people dining in were mad and some of them walked out. All I can suggest is to please make sure you guys have enough staff and if you are giving a certain time, abide by it.

The name stands tall to its quality!! Its just the kind of authentic fresh south Indian food that would take you back to your hometown..it tastes more like warm home-cooked meal than the ones we get in restaurants, the food is very simple, absolutely easy on stomach yet flavorful & tasty. We ordered a masala Dosa, I wish it had a tad bit more of curry leaves flavor, otherwise it was just on point, warm, tasty & a perfect comfort food , just as a dosa should be!! It was pretty filling too. Well the dosa is served with Sambhar, & two small portions of chutneys.. the sambhar was awesome in taste, neither too thick nor too runny with perfect texture, however I would have liked tad bit imli on it & voila it would have tasted heavenly!! ..the chutneys coconut & tomato chutney were awesome, BUT DEFINITELY I MISSED having the GUN POWDER & the authentic GARLIC CHUTNEY…if the owners are reading this review, plz..plz introduce the famous finger licking garlic chutney in the sides in your dosa platter , it will definitely be a game changer for a lot of people like me !!! I loved the neat & clean decor, it is just take away and you get your food with a smile from the owner!! Definitely coming back..a much needed home like south Indian food just in the hood is the best thing to happen!! Isn’t?

The food was amazing and service was spectacular! We ordered dosas, parottas, thali and idli. No complaints. All the dishes had an authentic taste, and it reminded us of eating in India at a relatives home. Has a really good home made food kind of vibe. Also prices were so reasonable for the amount of food you get. They were so kind to refill sambar and chutney. Definitely recommending to family and friends! A must try!

Hands down one of the best Indian places around. I keep going back to this place for the really great fish fry, chicken curry and chicken biryani. For far we have tasted about half of the items on the menu and I can't think of a single bad thing about any of them. Highly recommend trying their fish fry, I know it can be a little of the pricier end but I felt it was justified. The staff is friendly and poliet, overall a great place, and would definitely be ordering from this place again.

1st time here Thanks for ur kind , Ordered idly for my daughter as i request we dont want spicy for my daughter but the dip was spicy so not reccom. To any kids already explained to the guyz who served us and he understand that & Chicken biryani wasnt bad but not as i used to eat in indian kitchen in dubai & In canada What make me upset " butter chicken " i have been eat it for whole my life was not liquid like that at all Please work on that if u want ..love the hopitality thx again looking forward to come again ...

We tried the masala dosa. We waited 20 minutes for dosa and they put it in a to-go box, closed it, and forgot to tell us it was ready. Unfortunately it became a little soggy. Maybe I’ll try it again when it’s fresh. Pros: They have some tables so you can sit outside, and it’s located in a nice plaza as well.

Loved it! Ordered chicken biryani and curry. Mysore and regular masala dosa. Idly, samosas and vadas. Tasty, fresh and delicious. Truly authentic and well worth the drive from Milton.

AWESOME food!!! “Tasty Foods” really lives up to their name! The food was warm, fresh and well portioned and the staff were so welcoming and nice. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good South Indian food experience, I know i’ll be getting food from here for all my friends and family :
