Whispering Pines Campground

Great family campground. This is the 1/2 point for us to meet our friends from MN. We have been there 3 years. It has been nice to watch it develop. There needs to be more in the swim pond area. That was our only complaint.

My wife and I are generally backwoods campers. Only thing I hated was the sound of the interstate! Other then that it was very nice. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Bathrooms and showers where nice and clean! Swimming pond was a really cool! Perfect campground for rvs/campers and kids!

Nice clean campground. The overnight sites are level, large & provide picnic tables and fire pits. All roads within the park are gravel or sand. The pond is excellent for the kids, I would advise a PFD for youngsters and poor swimmers. I wasn't impressed though that kids had to pay $5 each to mini golf and the showers were not free.

I have known the owners of this campground for a decade, and they have always been so kind and helpful whenever possible. I camp here at least once a year, and have now started working here as a staff member. The staff here are such a great bunch of people! They have been very kind and encouraging throughout my training! Would definitely recommend this site as a vacation destination for anyone looking for friendly faces and clean facilities.

It's a nice place, but they have so many rules that it kind of takes some of the fun out of staying here.
