Very nice people and service, clean bathroms/showers amd office, BUT we were unhappy namely with the road and train noise. It was too close to the road and were deceived by pictures that it had views of the bluffs and river. It also was very muddy after the rain we experienced while there; bad drainage. The sites are just a bit too close together and I was a little unhappy with the restrictions on dogs so far around the office and bathrooms.

Remembering this is a CAMPGROUND: We and another couple arrived by boat. Staff via VHF radio gave us FANTASTIC directions to avoid underwater hazards. Year-round site holders volunteered to help us unload our boats and brought a pickup to haul our gear for us to our site. Even gave us free firewood. Fantastic neighbors. Overall experience was fantastic, and we'll do it again. Just remember? ....there is a RR track that runs through it....just like all of the Mississippi in the area. Highly recommended.
