It make sense now, why this company has a rating 1+...nnIf you like to fix your appliances, call any other independent technician.nnWhirlpool can't diagnose and fix their own appliances... very disappointing.nnMoney has been paid and the dishwasher is still not working.nnI asked someone else to fix a dishwasher, after they couldn't find a problem after 3 times they came in.nnTook him 5 minutes to identify the problem. He knew exactly where to look after I told him about my concern.nnI will be submitting my complaint to consumer protection for the company taking money and not fixing the machine...
Brand New Fridge….zero star rating if that was an option….purchased a fridge less than 2 months ago. Compressor needs to be fully replaced. 6 weeks to get the part as on back order.nSuzanne from customer service was empathetic about the situation but couldn’t really offer anything other than to try to expedite the part. She did offer $100 to purchase another fridge for the meantime, that would be received in 6 weeks in an chq -who knows if that will come. Plus I’ve already paid $2400 for a fridge that should last more than 2 months, basically feel like I received a lemon for an appliance.nI ended up speaking with the place I purchased it, they stated I had to go back to whirlpool and was transferred to a very rude lady named Pamela. AWFUL lady to deal with she was rude, not empathetic, dismissive about the situation. I am not sure why on earth she would be in customer service.nI was very caught off guard with how arrogant she was, when I asked if I could deal with a manager she said no. I ended up getting no resolution so I hung up and called back.nWhen I called back I got a man named Josh, he was very empathetic about the situation and stated they have 14 business days to find the part….. like…. Ok what happens if you don’t find the part….am I still waiting another 1-4 weeks for a new fridge. This is an absolute nightmare of a company to deal with. They don’t care about the $500+ spoiled food. I can understand if the fridge was 3 years old but it’s not even 2 months. WORST PRODUCT to buy. Would stay far far far far away from them at this point. I even read out the warranty when less than a year and got no where. Wordings are black and white but a customer service rep has the ability to be the grey area and should have the empowerment to make a decision that is a reasonable for the client, not having a fridge for 6 weeks or even 3 weeks to find the part is sooo unacceptable, super disappointed
I could not recommend Whirlpool any less. A broken dishwasher after 6 months of purchase. Over 8 weeks have passed without resolution. Disgraceful service. How do they get away with it?
WARNING- DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR LARGE APPLIANCES FROM WHIRLPOOL. They deserve 0/5 stars .. please do yourself a favour and do not count on manufacture warranty.nMy kitchen aid fridge is less than a year old. They sent a company that just guessed the issue and just changed parts. No diagonais. I had the issue days later again. My fridge isn’t cooling. They now ordered a door and said it’s “made to order” 6-8 weeks. My fridge is at 13degrees C. I wanted a second opinion and they said no. The third party company won’t send their tech until the door arrives even though the tech just ordered the door because the rubber had a small rip and he admitted it’s not the reason why my fridge is a block of ice at the back! So they won’t fix the problem. Supervisor Erica was beyond rude. I’ve never had such bad experience in my whole life. Scam scam scam. Called my own tech, paid and got answers. He showed me the door in stock at their supplier. He told me the tech didn’t know how to put the rubber on so he ordered a wholendoor!! In the meantime no one will come address the issue! I can’t buy food for my kids longer than a day in the fridge. Mold and $$$ of dollars in milk , yogurt, meat thrown out for 2 months of this bull. Save yourself the headaches. PleasenAvoidnThem!!!!!
Horrible appliances and customer service. My stove broke at 2 years and will cost close to $500 to fix. The person who came to repair it just put his head to it and told me it’s the control board. Attempted to do nothing else or look at anything. Came into my home with his shoes on, no shoe covers, tracking dirt in my kitchen. Contacted whirlpool multiple times and was laughed at by the supervisor when sharing my concern. Please don’t buy anything from this company, the reviews speak for themselves.
