What's the Scoop is a delicious place to go for fish and chips and may very well have the very best fish and chips in the city yes - better than John's Lunch!nnThe fish has a crisp, greasy coating and are huge! The fish tastes super fresh and is incredibly flavourful. Fries are plentiful as well.nnI gave Whats the Scoop 4 stars instead of 5 because they did not have homemade/housemade tartar sauce. The fish is so delicious, having it with Kraft tartar sauce does it a dis-service.
Had the fish burger before and it was okay, tried the “fries, dressing & gravy” thinking it would be like Newfie fries and their “dressing” is bread crumbs, summer savoury and raw onions tossed on top…
