Story

Founded in 1974 by the Costa family, Westport Camping Grounds prides itself in offering superb personal service. For those campers seeking a "back to nature" experience, Westport Camping Grounds invites you to experience camping in its purest, true form. We do not offer organized recreational activities. There is no rec hall or snack bar. But there are thick woods, spacious sites, water and electricity and clean restrooms. This is a place to relax and unwind; enjoy a campfire, gaze at the stars, listen to the sounds of nature.

I've always given this place 5 stars I used to stay all of June July and August as a kid I remember when they had pools and dances and barn for. My dad would go to work from there everyday. I miss those days. Now that I'm 32 I'm looking forward to going and some quiet time. There are not many adult based campgrounds. I love it! Sounds awesome.

Great staff ... clean sites and bathrooms headed back for our last camping trip of the season .... can't wait for next year ... our new favorite campground 😊🐶

Very clean, lots of room. peaceful, quiet, some children but mainly for adults and it's affordable and friendly!

Great place to camp and the staff are friendly bathrooms and showers are clean.its very relaxing and i really enjoy being there. Id give 5 stars except i went to get away from all the stress and still work everyday (so its convenient because its close to my job) and wanted to stay for a month or month and a half but they only allow 2 weeks for the tent sites. I wish i didnt have to switch campgrounds because i had friends and family that was going to get their own tent sites here but now they cant because im leaving and i dont know if they will like the other campgrounds around here but i definitely recommend coming here thats why i was having more people come here. I love this place to bad we have to leave :(
