Bourne Scenic Park

Have been camping at Bourne since I was a preteen. Soooo 50+years. Love camping on the canal to watch all the boats go by. Still get as excited about the big ships, yachts, cruise ships and tall ships as when I was a kid. Already planning our trip for next year. Also have to visit the Lobster Pot where my husband enjoys the fish and chips. And I always try something different. Haven't been disappointed yet.

Scenery was nice and being able to see canal from campsite was great however this was the loudest campground I have ever been to. The staff caters to seasonal campers ignoring non-seasonal campers. Seasonal campers are allowed to BLAST karaoke music from their site with big speakers from 7pm-10:30pm every Friday night disrespecting all other campers. When we called the office they sent an Employee to our site and they said "quiet time isn't until 10:30pm". No apology, nothing. So if you like noise this is the campground for you! Water, electric and cable hook-ups are on opposite sides of 50% of the sites. The campground also has a huge ant and tick problem. Long grass doesn't help.

We come here every year. Great access to the canal. Tons of fun stuff for the kids.

Great views. Watching the boats are so relaxing. The bike path is clean and we'll marked.
