Westland has been my insurance agent for almost 5 years, since April/May 2013. I have had NO claims. Over the past 2 years, they have raised my yearly rate by $120. I visited the office in Edgemont Village last week. There was only one other customer in the office and 4 employees. The female receptionist with experience in condo insurance was busy with a customer. The receptionist and 2 idle male employees could not help me. After half an hour of waiting, I gave up and left. In a subsequent conversation with the manager, she referred to me as unpleasant. I had previously transferred my policy from the Lonsdale office to the Edgemont office because the staff at the Lonsdale office was unpleasant. But now I have experienced unpleasantness from both offices' staff. Thus, yesterday, rather than renew with Westland, I purchased condo insurance elsewhere. I sent the staff at Edgemont a request of NON-renewal of my Condo Policy. I asked them to confirm they received it. Nobody ever did. So I called them today and a male staff said he would call me back. I waited 15 minutes but he didn't return my call. So I called the office and someone told me that he had gone out to lunch. I received rude, inconsiderate customer service, yet their manager had the impudence and arrogance to scapegoat me and call me unpleasant. I don't get it. Yuck!

Had the excellent service from Linda. Kind, understanding and thorough in explaining about our house insurance bill. Feeling so lucky to have called them.

Great place have been coming here for years. Make the drive all the way out from downtown. Ask for Lisa, she will take care of you.
