We are first time home buyers and our broker didn't explain renewals.  I come in one month before the policy expires to find we've already got another policy and the premiums were to be deducted the next day, 30 days before service.  I cancelled service and am now waiting for a refund going on 11 business days.  The reason given for why we weren't informed that our policy renewed automatically was that they are "very busy".  We received the new policy in the mail four days after the money was taken from our account.  If you're interested in getting fair service and having all the facts before you purchase - go somewhere else.
