Don and his team are great, and I am so glad that I have registered my daughter at West Coast martial Arts. The skill set which my 6 years old has learned with don and his team it is great example of true value of this beautiful Art.

Great school and staff, both me and my son have trained there. I've trained martial arts on and off for years. Don's style of teaching is great for all ages. Great atmosphere and very welcoming.
I would recommend this school to anyone of any age or ability. 👍

I have 3 grandchildren that have been in West Coast Jiujitsu for over a year and a half. I just added a 4th grand-daughter a couple months back. Even though they range in ages from 5 to 12, mixed boys and girls, and have very different personalities, everyone of them loves it. The instructors really know how to teach in a fashion that makes it enjoyable and provides rapid skill building. Previously, the 3 oldest were in another school for a year and gained very little real world techniques. In just the first 3 months at West Coast, they had gained a number of effective defense techniques that well surpassed anything they learned at their previous school. I believe it all comes down to the style of training and the teaching skills of the instructors. The best thing I see when I watch a class is that, not only are the kids having fun but the instructors are also having a blast. They know how to build a child's self-esteem while teaching self discipline. And, with the littlest ones (3 to 5 years) they know how to draw firm, fair and consistent boundaries while still maintaining an atmosphere of fun. Overall, I can easily recommend them, especially given that I hope to eventually have all 9 of my grandchildren enrolled.
