Wessex Inn Motel

If you’re looking for a great value room that’s clean and has really friendly staff, look no further. The view from balcony is beautiful.nnIf you’re super needy and preppy and have ultra high expectations about emmaculate appearance and over the top service, go to a gimmicky best western.nnThe place is quant and comfortable in a great location for an awesomely affordable price. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfy. I felt safe. Staff was nice. What more could you ask for? I very very much enjoyed my stay and would stay here again if ever in the area.

I would have actually left this place a good review, except they accused me of smoking inside, which I absolutely did not because I am not stupid and charged me an extra $250.nThere was no discussing it or attempting to defend myself either.nnCareful if if you stay here, if its not smoking, they will find another way to scam more money out of you.

Rooms were clean, service was non existent. Room did not get coffee or fresh towels daily. Garbage did not get emptied. Bed not made. We could hear every step the people made upstairs. The location was great. Right by the water and beautiful partial view of the ocean.

Nicely updated motel with very kind staff.nNew mattress & bedding was very comfortable. Brand new full use fridge. Love that they have a stove. Air conditioner was appreciated during heat wave. Patio, plenty of space in rooms. Generous with shower amenities. Setting on water and forest behind. Pet friendly. Great value

Excellent motel. Very clean and superb customer service. We had a late check in for a 3 day stay. When we arrived the air conditioning was on and the ice cube trays were full in the freezer.nKitchenette rooms are well stocked with dishes and pans.nThe motel its situated near Cowichan Bay between Victoria and Nanaimo making it fairly quiet and relaxing.nHighly recommend for an extended stay.
