I can imagine this place is awesome when it's not as absolutely full of people. There are a few sites that cannot be reserved, so you may have a shot at a site during the week in the summer months. No larger boats or jet skis are allowed on the lake, so that is nice for keeping the area pristine and somewhat quiet. Lots of good hikes close. The camp hosts are very nice and helpful.

Gorgeous! Little sandy beach area that was perfect for my kids to play. ... the mosquitos are horrendous. . Like seriously. But in September apparently they aren't bad! The road up is loooooonnnngggg but definitely worth it.

Host was very friendly and the campground was perfect for lakeside camping.  Great place to get away from it all!

stars only because there was a campfire ban. Not the camp site's fault but it would have been nice to have been informed of this.
