Walmart Supercentre

The fiancé and I are enjoying a kid free visit to walmart and noticed they had three display model vacuums for 1 cent. So we were on the hunt for the blue vest combing thenisle till we found one and asked to buy the display model and came with us to the shelves where they were. When I asked to purchase them they replied with that's not correct we legally cant sell that for that price. I argued that is any displayed price correct? How do we know this is a walmart if that sign is wrong is the one out front wrong? And the refused to sell me it at the displayed price. What ever happened to to the posted price is the price? My fiancée was very grumpy for the ride home so thanks for that.

It's one of the worst Walmarts I have ever been in. In most aisles, shelves are often empty. It seems staff never stock their store properly. Management charges customers a dollar to use their decrepit shopping carts. In fact, this is the only Walmart to force customers to pay for a shopping cart. It doesn't matter if you get your dollar back when you return the shopping cart. You shouldn't have to fork out a dollar for a shopping cart in the first place. This is just a stupid policy created by bad management. Staff in yellow vests just stand around and do nothing while most of their self checkouts are never working. Most manned checkouts are never open. Speaking of staff, if you need help, good luck trying to find someone to help you. Customer service doesn't exist at this store. Overall, staff could care less about customers. If you want to shop at a very good Walmart, head down highway 15 to Vegreville. This is where I shop. Better store, better customer service, and definitely better management. And the store is always well stocked. Well worth the trip.

Love the pick up option but they have to get on people for parking in the spots and going in. So many folks are taking up spots and they’re not picking up groceries. It’s incredibly frustrating. Last time I couldn’t even get my door open and the person was in the store. Really wish they had someone on it

I had accidentally placed a pickup order twice. Their staff was proactive enough to realize it and reached out to me to clarify whether it was an error and helped me cancel one of the orders. The products too were delivered under 5 minutes from the time I checked in.

Was just at the WalMart in Fort Saskatchewan getting bread, had just come from the dollar store, where I had bought 4 Mr.Big chocolate bars, a 6 pack of Pepsi and a bottle of ice tea. I was cold from the walk and had to use the washroom as soon as I entered WalMart, I then left my bag with the dollar store items with the cashier and proceeded to get the bread since I have a hard time getting around after a near death attack on me 2 years ago that left me with mobility problems and some brain damage. When I returned with the bread to pay for it a WalMart employee appeared at the till and grabbed my bag of dollar store items, emptied it on the counter said he was keeping it because I could not produce the receipt. I was outraged!! I’m a frequent WalMart shopper and this was the last of my money as I am on a very tight budget since the near death attack on me. I was confused and felt embarrassed and do not like confrontation so I left the store not knowing why he did this to me, I felt like I was bullied and robbed by WalMart, and I cried the whole walk home with no more money. I called to try to get them to make it right and now they won’t speak to me. I’m going to go get the receipt in the morning. And prove that they misjudged and mistreated me, but this embarrassing and hurtful experience will surely haunt me in the future. This employee should be fired. And I hope this never happens to anyone else. I don’t recommend shopping here at all.
