Go to any other grocery store in Prince George. The shelves are always an absolute mess and poorly organized. Multiple times the shelf price is always different from the till price and the workers will fight you tooth and nail over it. Harassed to join a credit card every single time. Prices are not low enough to validate shopping here often. There are some very pleasant people working here, but I try to avoid this place like the plague.
Bad meat. Twice in a row I've bought big things of hamburger from here and twice in a row it's been bad. Like open it up the next day and it's so sour smelling. I live a 40 minute drive away so it doesn't make sense for me to go all the way back to complain about a thing of hamburger. I'll just learn my lesson and stop shopping there. They obviously do not clean their tools properly.
Too bad there is no zero. This has to be the worst run Walmart in the chain. 3 times I have had to wait in line to get my bill corrected. Books, two for $15.00. No, $12.98 each. Pop, 3 for $5.00, no $2.17 each. Multi save my butt! No "I'm sorry", no "we'll fix that" The worst part is you go through the till, pay, and THEN notice your receipt. Now you have to wait at the return counter. Staff are under trained and just don't care!! I have 2 times had customers behind me in lune with similar complaints. Check your bill!!!
Will literally harass you trying to get you to join the Walmart credit card or whatever and then tell you it’s “your problem” then proceeds to stop helping you with the self checkout. So rude and so pushy over a dang credit card. If I wanted it I’d have said yes the first 100 times they asked.
Never shopping there again. Only 1 till opened so when to self check out scanned and paid for everything. The self check out lady yelled at me in front of my kids other customers and other employees stating I never paid for my milk I showed her the receipt. She then rudely stated that she was only doing her job. Didn't even get an apology
I had the best possible experience with a lovely lady at electronics in the P.G. location. I am a single dad and had two of my kids with me on Wednesday and we were checking out phones. My daughter had a very nice apple watch given to her by her mother and we learned very quickly that we could not use it without an actual iPhone. I decided we would look at phones to see what was compatible and what we could afford. I was also in need of a new Samsung as mine is about to be out of date and unable to update. I asked Missy, the CSR at the desk, if she could help us. She not only helped us, but got us both new phones at a very good price and even went so far as to arrange awesome contract pricing with telus loyalty. Had I gone anywhere else, I am sure I would be stuck with thousands of dollars in new phones and super steep rates which as a single dad, is beyond unrealistic financially. Because of her human understanding of the situation and her absolute fairness, I would say she went above and beyond in her role and because of that, I will be a customer for life. Walmart really needs more employees like her and she exemplifies what true customer service is about. Having 33 years experience in the industry myself, I am truly refreshed by her attitude and think she is a great example to learn from. Keep up the great job and I look forward to travelling to Prince George for my next major electronics purchase!!
Needed stabilizer for all my toys. checked and found on website, went to store spoke to 2 staff 1 was supervisor. They told me none in their store. I told them I had found on web site and super told me I was mistaken only places that had it were cdn tire, amazon, so I just have been on us site. Needless to say I found auto department and guess what!!! All kinds of stabilizer!! Was it because I am a pensioner, female they felt I was Stupid!!! Clean up your act!!
Watched a Walmart truck speed cut in front of an ambulance with sirens and lights at 1:14 . Hwy 16 and 97 intersection. Prince George. Maybe cheapest isn’t always best.
Walmart now only uses paper bags, which is ok...but they decided to also not bag your groceries for you anymore. The worst part of the whole system is that the bagging area is big enough for only 2 paper bags. No room for the groceries to go after they're scanned. Nowhere for your loaded bags to go while you bag the rest. I had to unload some of my cart, go fill up 2 bags, put them on the ground, go unload some more, fill up 2 bags, etc. etc. And these paper bags aren't made for much weight so needless to say it was a very long process. And because they only had one cashier open, there was quite the line by the time I was finally finished. I'm sure I wasn't the only super frustrated customer in that line tonight!! Walmart needs to seriously use some common sense & re-evaluate their system. Either bag our groceries or make the bagging area a place where we can actually bag our groceries. Preferably BOTH!! The only reason I gave an extra star was because they're cheaper. I just don't think it's worth it anymore for a big trip. I'd rather not deal with the hassle.
Worst customer service ever! Bring my own bags will not pack them. Not set up for self bagging. Isle to cashier so narrow and caged in very hard to navigate. Long lines two tills open unless you use self check out. Many cashiers cannot speak or understand english. Ask for ten loonies gave me 10 dimes... ugh Just give up shopping here.
