Walmart Gatineau West Superstore

Classic walmart. Adequate parking spots the check out doesn't have much line ups. It doesn't sell any rotisserie chicken though. Properly stocked. Classic looking set up.

Had a very disappointing experience at this Walmart today the employee at the self checkout comes to tell me I can't scan my items out of my cart I need to scan them and place them on the side. First of all the machine is there to be used at my discretion second of all I was already done scanning my stuff when she comes over and tells me I can't be doing that I need to restart the entire transaction. And then when she realised that we had items at the bottom of the cart we mentioned they were already paid for on a other bill she didn't do her due diligence and check the bill for those items she just walked away! Honestly I have scanned my items out of the cart at Walmart's I've either worked at and bought stuff or as a client, we went to this location cause we had a appointment at the hospital near by honestly this was a stupid experience I don't think will be shopping at this location let alone any Walmart again the prices are ridiculous, Costco has the same items for the same price just more bulk! I don't appreciate that especially from an employee who had the phone in there hand the entire time. Very poor practices at Walmart!

Is this place ever open? I came on a weekday at 9, surprised to find they had just closed. I came on the weekend at 5 PM and was absolutely shocked to find the same thing. Is there another Walmart on planet earth that closes at 5pm?

I can't believe how bad this store is, as you can see from the picture the staff never clean the place. My friend and I ordered a total of 2 burgers and it took over 30min to get 1 of them that was made wrong. Also when I was waiting for my food I saw multiple staff eating the food while making food. Highly unsanitary and rude... Do not come here for you health

Terrible customer service TC device not properly utilized, causing transactions to be frozen until employees make correction there's no cashiers to avoid this 20+ item self checkout was closed, causing long wait times and difficulty checking out.
