Walmart Burnaby Supercentre

A surprisingly solid restroom experience where everything functions perfectly. The toilets have a strong flush and were clean. The sinks are clean, the mirrors are clean , and the hand dryers put out great heat. It’s a basic design, but it's clearly well maintained and taken care of.

Walmart offers a convenient and budget-friendly shopping experience with a wide variety of products ranging from groceries to electronics. The store is well-organized, prices are competitive, and the staff is generally helpful. It’s a reliable one-stop destination for quality essentials at great value.

I went to buy baby formula, and the whole section was locked up. That’s fine—I understand there are a lot of theft issues. But the real problem was that when I asked multiple staff members to get someone with the key, no one knew who had it. I waited over 20 minutes before finally giving up. That’s unacceptable. It shows a serious lack of basic training and organization. The manager needs to fix this with proper staff training and a clear system.

The older Indian lady at customer service came all the way to the self-checkout area to tell the Asian lady to watch me. I could hear her & see her pointing at me, as I was standing close to them. I was simply scanning my items, but it was a very personal and embarrassing experience. It felt rude & disrespectful. The older Asian woman at the self-checkout, however, was nice, professional, & respectful.

David made our Walmart experience absolutely exceptional. My husband and I were searching everywhere for the newly released Saros game and couldn’t find it anywhere. David went above and beyond by personally checking in the back for us and found one of only three available. He was incredibly kind, charismatic, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire interaction. His positive attitude and outstanding customer service turned what could have been a frustrating shopping trip into an amazing experience. David is truly one of the best associates we’ve ever encountered at Walmart, and he deserves every bit of this 5-star review. Thank you, David!
