Walmart Burnaby Supercentre

I recently visited the Walmart at 9855 Austin Rd in Burnaby and had an unfortunate experience with an employee named Seyd at the customer service desk. I found him to be dismissive and somewhat aggressive in how he responded to my concerns about a pricing issue. I asked about the Scanning Code of Practice, but I felt my questions were brushed off instead of being properly addressed.nnWhile I generally appreciate the variety this store offers, I was disappointed with the customer service I received on this occasion. I hope management can look into providing more training or support for their team so customers feel heard and respected.

Not the biggest Walmart out there… but somehow it is more stocked than other Walmart locations throughout the Lower Mainland.

I had an absolutely appalling experience at Walmart recently. One of the staff members, an older gentleman, displayed shockingly low levels of professionalism and basic human decency. His behavior was completely unacceptable. He was extremely rude and hostile towards customers, and at one point, he even seemed ready to physically assault someone. This level of aggression is utterly intolerable, especially from an employee of such a large and reputed company.nnThe situation escalated to the point where I felt it was necessary to call the police. It’s disappointing that an establishment like Walmart allows such individuals to represent their brand. I strongly advise others to be cautious when visiting this store, as this kind of behavior is not only unprofessional but also potentially dangerous. This experience has severely damaged my trust in Walmart, and I hope they take immediate action to address this serious issue.

I used to shop here a lot, but unfortunately, every time I ask the staff about products, they don’t seem to know the answers. Most of the employees are quite young and don’t have much information.nnThere were even times when they told me a product wasn’t available, but I later found it on the shelves myself!nnOnce, I saw a mouse in the store and reported it to a staff member, but their only response was, ‘Was it small or big?’nand they just brushed it off like it was nothing.nnI really hope these issues get resolved soon so I can shop here with peace of mind.

I have been shopping at this location for years now and recently have been noticing the decline in quality staff and service. The customer service desk where i have gotten the best treatment from an Employee by the name of Rachel is sadly no longer working in that department. Her service was exceptional she was always professional, and so sweet. Now i experience employees that dont seem to know what they are doing and it's quite unorganized. Besides that, the diary isle has been smelling so foul for the longest time, like sewage. I believe jugs of milk had broken/spilled and the clean up for that which i had witnessed was just horrendous. Which why the smell. That location really needs a lot of improvement. Staffing needs to change.
