Few disappointments with this Yamaha dealer, not really interested in making long term customers, just trying to make as much money in a single transaction. I’ve had some OEM products quoted for 300% more than other dealers, anything in that store can be found 15% lower or more in other trusted online business and I ended up with an 800 bill because they didn’t want to own up to Yamaha mistake; whatever you do, don’t get the extended warranty on anything Yamaha, they won’t honour it.nnI want Yamaha to take a torque wrench and screw the oil pan drain bolt back on at 43 NM and see what happens? As per their hard copy manual that they should have recalled, because it was an expensive lesson for me to see that it should have been printed as 13 or maybe even just 3 NM.nnOr what about the time I wanted to buy the Rally seat from them and got quoted 600 dollars, I asked another parts guy and he quoted me 400, then I called another Yamaha dealer in the lower mainland and they had it in stock and was 200 taxes in.nnAnd the most recent one was, after 2.5 years I decided to open the box of take offs from the Tenere I bought in 2023 to find that I never received a spare key, so I asked the parts guy, I said I didn’t get the spare key back in the day, maybe it’s still there somewhere or maybe they have a spare I can buy; he said that they don’t come with spares which is not true and that if I wanted one it would be 110 dollars for a blank key that I would have to take to a locksmith to get cut. I declined, went to a locksmith and got 2 copies of my original key for 20 bucks after tax.

Overall great experience with GA Checkpoint, thanks to Mac for the great service on me purchasing a 2020 MT07! Highly recommend if you guys and gals are interested in purchasing any Motorcycle, ATVs, Boats, even riding gear and parts, the options are endless! Thanks again GA checkpoint! Cheers.

I needed parts for my bike, but I was a little apprehensive because I didn’t really know exactly what I was looking for. But when I went to the parts department everyone was super nice and helpful, they were able to help me find the exact parts I needed and ordered them for me. Everyone seemed super friendly and knowledgeable, answered all my questions and gave me lots of tips and suggestions which I will definitely be looking into! Overall, they were a really good mix of casual and professional and it was a really good experience :
