Meat Craft Urban Butchery

We just bought a fresh 3 lb Sirloin Tip Roast there and while I thought it was a bit pricey, I am fussy about what I put on the BBQ grill. Since I also like it to be Medium Rare; it has to be good quality. This purchase did not disappoint. The roast was tender and free of gristle! When I want to rely on serving a good quality piece of meat, I want a butcher I can rely on to do that. Meat Craft will be the place I purchase it!

Honestly wouldn’t even give this place a one star if I could give worse. How this place charges the prices they do for the lack of quality is beyond me. They are robbers and I would never recommend going here. There are much better butcher shops with better prices around the Port Moody area. Don’t get sucked in to their unrealistic prices. They charged 40$ for 4 chicken breast ... and when we tried calling for an hour to ask if they mischarged us they did not pick up and closed shop early. Never again will we go here as it’s not worth anyone’s time.

Good quality meats, but.... Past three times I've gone, I walked out the door empty handed. This recent time made me decide to review my local butcher. I am always forced to buy their ground meats frozen. Never fresh, as far as ive seen. Top dollar stuff. I asked if they could grind up a blend of cuts I like but, "The grinder is done for the day". They had no ground meat available though... If your going to force me to buy deep frozen meat, at least organize your bin so I can find it without playing meat card dealer.

** June 2017 Update ** The pork here is the best I have ever eaten. I can order specialized cuts from a fresh hog via Facebook. Butcher Greg and Meat Craft are amazing. This is a fantastic butcher shop carrying amazing local, ethically raised meats. The meat here, be it chicken, pork, beef, lamb, or anything else is top notch and far far better than anything from the super market. Greg The Butcher is awesome and really loves what he does. This is reflected in the quality and creativeness of the products available at Meat Craft. They also carry various locally sourced products like Pie Hole pies and bacon-brittle. I can't recommend this place enough.

Some of the best cuts in town. Tomahawk steaks, beef ribs, pork rinds *drooling* absolutely amazing. Good cured meat selection too.
