Walkerville Chill

Stopped by this hidden gem, it really is hidden and tucked away as we drove by it the first time and had to double back. Upon entering we were warmly greeted by all the lovely ladies working. They were very accommodating as this was our first time and explained everything to us, they even have a selection of hard ice cream as well but we came to specifically try the chimney cones! I got the vegan vanilla swirled with mango and vegan chocolate sauce and pecans. My niece ordered the strawberry and Nutella chimney cone. They also come in 2 sizes and we opted for the smaller size. The service was wonderful and the ice cream was a delight! Only thing that was a bit of a let down was that the inside of the chimney cone itself is not baked, so when you get down to it the inside was a bit doughy against the ice cream when it started melting. Idk if it’s done like that on purpose or if it would be better if the whole cone was baked both inside and out. But overall it was a good experience and I’ll def be back for the vegan options

Great ice-cream! Super friendly service, lots of options to create a customized cone. The chimney cone is a must try, be ready to get messy but its well worth it. Pro dad tip if you bring the kiddos to bring a box of wipes, you'll need it.

Amazing ice cream!! The worker there asked if we had been there before and then proceeded to show us the options, making it an easy experience for ordering for the first time! The cinnamon bun iced cream was absolutely amazing, I’ve never had anything like it but it’s fantastic!

Great and friendly service here. Got introduced to the magic of the chimney cone. It certainly pairs well with the Reese's pieces ice cream glory. The selection looked pretty nice as well. My friends definitely enjoyed their choices. Would absolutely go again! Was a great stop on my trip to Windsor.

Had a visit to this place yesterday. The cashier was very friendly and hospitable. I had the Banana split and it was delicious. But the presentation was a mess and made it look less appealing.

They have very different unique cone style. I like the ice-cream. Ice-cream has very rich taste and flavour. I had Reeses and Cinnamon Bun. Both of them were very flavourful. I would highly recommend to visit once to this local ice-cream place.

Must try. We all really enjoyed the delicious flavors of ice cream. Nice little spot. Freshly made cones. Delicious. Highly recommended.

The first two photos is hard scoop dairy ice cream banana split. The others are of their non-dairy vegan ice cream which I really enjoyed! I had 3 huge scoops of vanilla vegan ice cream with pineapple chunks, cherry glaze, nuts all atop one of their famous chimney cones AND a sweet banana. Cost around $9 but it was worth it...it was huge!

What a neat little find! Churro cones are roughly $9 but sooo worth it. You spend 5-6$ on a tiny mcflurry at mcdonalds anyways The churro cones are HUGE and FILLED with ice cream. The churro is freshh and soft and the ice cream and is cold and delicious. Super picturesque inside as well. Staff was very inviting and friendly. You have plenty of flavour options and cone options other than the churros. Tones of toppings and cone fillings I filled mine with nutella!! mmmm They way they present their ice cream is very clean as well so you don’t dont make a mess. Highly recommend this spot for family, friends, and dates!

I’m originally from Hungary/Romania and chimney cakes were a part of my childhood when growing up. Glad to see this business open in Windsor. The staff is very polite, the inside of the business is clean and they have plenty of seating available. The chimney cakes are also very delicious! If you have a sweet tooth and you haven’t tried chimney cakes before, I highly recommend giving Walkerville Chill a try.
