Busker's Submarine

Pretty impressed with the service, quality food and price for what we got. I had the brownie extreme Sundae and it was quite large. The nice thing about here is everything can be customized, even down to what ice cream flavour you want in your sundae. My friend got the onion rings and she and they were amazing

If your looking for some place to create a special memories, you need to look no further then busker's I use to eat some dinners here as a kid and all where great dinners. There is no other place for great ice cream with memories to last your lifetime. Its just one of the finer memories like the old time hops at A&W if you can remember or had the pleasure to enjoy such services. I always have a hard time deciding what I want when it come to Busker's Ice cream.

The roast beef Philly sandwich was fantastic!!!! Loved the chocolate ice cream sample and thank you card. Felt appreciated as a customer.

YES I ATE IT ALL... Judge not less he be judged himself, I'm sure that's in some book somewhere...lol it was a bit much, my sis warned me that the large is really LARGE....as you see by the pics I rarely listen to anyone. Was it too much for me, Yeh, was I as a Scorpio male going to let this bowl of food beat me, nope, GAME ON! The fries were drenched in a familiar brown gravy and where there was a glimmer of hope as a lone fry reached up through this gravy blanket to the sky it was smothered with mozzarella cheese...all hope was lost. From my first spoonful as I fought against the strings, nay ropes of mozzarella cheese I feared for my life because it was a struggle of wills and the mere sight of this gargantuan dish had already taken pieces of my soul but I decided to press on. I decided that it was either going to be me or it and I don't like losing. It was a delicious war. But as I shoveled corpius amounts of fries, gravy and cheese into my face hole, I soon realized my last will and testament were not yet signed. I recalled the staff giving a thumbs up as she made....no....engineered my dish, was it a symbol of the goodness of this dish yes but could it have also be a sign of...."nice knowing you...this will end you". Jokes aside enjoyed it and that staff were nice. I probably won't order this again and definitely wouldn't call it poutine, the french would shed a tear if they saw that this is named poutine. It's cheesy fries.

Servings are great, have been going here for years. Ever since Covid happened the staff has been horrible, they have little to no expression and shut the door right in your face without giving you napkins or even wishing you a good day. No respect for anybody that works here, they’ve shut the window in my face twice now without even giving me napkins for ICE CREAM. When asking for napkins, she gave them to me and slammed the door. Extremely unsatisfying, ice cream is always great though as well as food so can’t complain there.

Always a great stop for ice cream. The soft ice cream is my favorite, and the portion sizes are very generous! Dipped in chocolate with peanuts is a real sore oak treat! You order at the window under the patio roof and pick up at the side window. Staff are always friendly and service quick!

We the whole family have frequented this establishment for many, many years. Never had a single complaint...not ONE! Now that they are under new ownership, the quality and service just aren't the same. My husband refuses to give them another try after having two gyros separate visits that couldn't even be eaten. Dried leather he called the meat. I also have had three bad experiences. The first two, they messed my order up. I always order the same thing...a cheese sub. Not sure how you mess up a cheese sub but they have. THREE times now. The first time, I let it slide and assumed it had something to do with the new owners 'finding their feet'. The second time I asked that the owner call me. He did and we had a great conversation. He was very appreciative of my feedback and vowed to make future experiences better. Tonight I ordered a cheese sub online. I was able to pick it up in 15 mins. That was great! It was ready on time, too. I drove home and anticipated this sub. Unfortunately, it was wrong AGAIN. It had ham on it...I don't eat meat. I contemplated taking the ham off and just eating the sub but the principle of them getting an order wrong when it's printed right there in front of them astonished me. I went back and was greeted at the window. I attempted to put the sub down in front of the employee but there's a gap between the window and the cash register and it fell in the gap. Immediately the employee accused me of throwing the sub at her! Wow...I wasn't even angry, just very disappointed. At that point I tried telling her that I didn't intend or mean to throw it and I was sorry. She was very short with me. She didn't give the choice for my sub to be re-made but only offered to refund my money. At this point, I asked her to ask that the owner call me. She said "who is that" and I said it was Mark or Mike used to be Mike. She said "I'll make sure he knows you threw the sub at me, too" and then she slammed the serving window shut! At which point I decided that arguing with a already angry employee was not going to get me anywhere so I left. I am awaiting a phone call from the current owner and will update this review with the outcome of that conversation. I am so disappointed. This local business is just not worth the aggravation to me. I really advocate for small businesses and go out of my way to support buying locally. Not this one anymore. UPDATE: The owner and I had another good conversation. He is very easy to talk to level headed. I have a better understanding of the struggles small business owners have in attracting and maintaining good employees after these long few years fill in the blanks That said - it does not excuse the behavior of the server. He was understanding of my position and also his employee's. Touche.

Today I was once again inspired to make a post about this awesome place! Josie was super friendly and made me feel right at home! Kayla made my brownie sundae and it was absolutely delicious. A Windsor staple. I came here for the first time 13 years ago and the food and ice cream were top quality. the best sub ive ever had

We haven't been to Buskers since the owners changed and are so disappointed we waited this long. The Buskaroo submarine was absolutely perfect! There was a great balance of toppings with a very generous and prime cut meats, sauces and vegetables, bun was fresh, nothing was soggy. Ordered milk shakes which are made with hard icecream. Milkshakes were thick enough to drink and not melt quickly. They have a large menu of food and desserts. Worth stopping here for whatever craving you may have. Plenty of parking, staff were friendly and courteous, food was quick.
