Story

Visit our scenic orchard farm by the historic Rideau Canal for Pick-Your-Own apples and Pumpkins. Buy our farm-fresh produce ready-picked at our heritage 1830 log cabin store. Enjoy fresh home-made baking and preserves from our Farm bakery - shop in-store during the harvest or online all year long!

We are located at the east end of Kingston Ontario, just 10 minutes north of the 401, at the corner of Highway 15 and Washburn Road (Lower Brewers Lockstation on the Rideau Canal).

Our harvest season starts early August and continues to late fall while supplies last (check our website for harvest updates). For your convenience, we offer a picnic area nestled among the apple trees and lots of free parking.

Good things first: great location, close to the city, and their apple is very. There is even a cute little bakery offering more goodies. Overall it's a nice place to spend your Saturday morning with friends and kids. And here's the disappointing stuff: Their price was quite shocking at the counter. We've been going apple picking for several years (to another farm) and price has never been an issue. They also listed 5 varieties of apples to pick currently (both online and at site) although 3 out 5 we could not find, or there were sign not to pick it yet. +1: Sign says: you can try it, but no munchies. Not that we could eat more than 2 at one sitting, but making a sign out of it, with their prices, just made this farm even more greedy in our eyes :) next year we'd rather drive twice as much to our usual apple farm.

Excellent customer service. Staff helped with identification of apple types and use. Trees clearly marked along with caution tape to prevent poor picking and bee stings. Dogs on leash allowed. Free munching not allowed

It was a great visit, we showed up late and they let us in after they were closed to pick some apples. very friendly staff, I would definitely go back.

Big orchard with lots of apple varieties to choose from. They do allow dogs which is awesome. They have to be leashed of course. The apples taste super good. It has a lot of space to walk around. The store front is a very cool old building and is full of tasty treats and bagged apples if you don't want to pick
