To follow up on the poster below, I have also known Brian for a while now and I agree 100% that he is very pleasant to deal with and very knowledgeable! I've been to see his shop many times, in fact I had done some business with him a while back, and I have to say I was extremely impressed with the level of service that came out of that shop. It was very neat to see the tools used to restore the pieces and the sheer amount of work he has put into that business! He has a great selection of products and I guarantee you won't be disappointed in taking the time to visit him!

I have purchased antiques from Brian and had him refinish 3 pieces inherited from my parents . The workmanship was exquisite and I now have heirloom pieces for my daughters and I am very oproud to show them off. The settingfor this business is far from frightening, its a rather serene and spacious country setting. His large DOBERMAN played gently with our miniature dachsund while my partner and I browsed and did our transactions. Brian is a professional businessman who provides prompt and high quality workmanship. If you need an antique fix, Wilmerdale is the place to travel to regardless of how far you are travelling from. It is well worth the effort and drive to get there.
