This place is a hidden gem in the neighborhood and we love coming here. We always get the pani puri, and we tried the samosa chaat. it comes with several delicious dips. The best part of the meal is having all of this with a nice refreshing environment . In terms of service, the food comes out relatively quick and theyre pretty friendly. Can't wait to be back again!
We traveled for about an hour on a weekendpublic transit to try the food here and it was totally worth it! We ordered Misaal pav, bun maska, vada pav, chinese bhel which was their weekly special, tea, buttermilk. Bun Maska isn’t the same as you get in India but it’s good to try if you want to feel nostalgia. Chinese Bhel was extremely spicy so be warned! If you can’t handle extreme spice level don’t order it. Vada pav was delicious and so was everything else we ordered. We will definitely go back to try other items on the menu!
So we recently discovered this gem of a place serving authentic Mumbai street food. We tried: Cold coffee: Exactly tasted like the Indian street taste, perfect blend of sugar and milk Masala thums up: it’s the best drink to beat the heat Pani puri: the pani puri flavoured water was so refreshing that you will crave for more Dahi puri: Amazing burst of flavors with every puri Missal Pav: the flavors took me back to Mumbai Vada Pav: their specialty and it truly proves itself. The presentation is so cute, was served in a cart. Pav bhaji: We loved it, perfect blend of all the spices with soft pavs Vegetable cutlet: ohh so crispy and fresh, they make them in house, a must try Paneer cheese kathi roll: the marination of the paneer was the best and loved the taste Kulfi: Not to be missed Gulab jamun with ice cream: soft Gulab jamuns topped with vanilla ice cream. Enjoyed it. Overall we had a very pleasing visit. This place is quite affordable with majority of the dishes costing under $10 and the portion size is quite good. The staff was very courteous and cordial as well as the preparation time was quick. A perfect place to enjoy street food with your family and friends. Definitely recommend to try.
The best Indian Street food I had in Calgary They have the amazing atmosphere. The food was really yummy I had Pav Bhaji, Dabeli, Vada Pav, Sev Puri, Dahi Puri and Pani Puri. Each and every item I tried is totally worth the money. I suggest everyone try out this place. Special mention to Sam Chef for giving tasty food and of course their team for great service
Went in for a quick bite on a sunny afternoon. I actually like places that are not crowded. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The place in itself is very clean and has a great atmosphere to spend some quality time with your loved ones/yourself. I still have the taste of the green chutney on the tip of my tongue, which was served along with the vada pav. My friends ordered pani puri, dahi puri and was pleasantly surprised with the authentic taste that they were able to reproduce. Would go there again for sure and highly recommend this place to anyone who likes to have tasty, delicious Indian food.
One of the best Indian restaurants in Calgary. We tried Pav Bhaji, Vada Pav, jeera rice, Dal Tadka, Biryani, Kadai Paneer , Mango Lassi...All of them were very tasty and Yummy : all at a pretty reasonable price. The staff was smiling and friendly too. The ambience reminds us of Mumbai streets ...Music was also good.
Amazing place! We were visiting Calgary from US and stopped by this place to have some snacks! Absolutely amazing food, authentic taste that takes you back to the streets of Mumbai. The server was super sweet and the food was an absolute delight. Very interesting ambience, small but super cute place!Food: 5/5
If you are in Calgary then do visit “Vivaan’s Yummies” else you will miss amazing authentic taste of Indian Street Food. We ordered everything from Menu which you can see in photos, taste was unbelievable and thought like I am in India having street food. I will recommended to order your favourite any item from menu and you will enjoy deliciousness. Every week they have different special items which you can find on their social media page. Last but not least, Best staff, service and quality of food with affordable price, music and pleasant environment. I would like to thanks a lot to “Brindaa” for serving best both time with cute smile on face.
Food - very good and almost authentic. We ordered vada pav the best in the city, dahi puri really good , paneer kaathi roll must try, cutting chai perfect kettlie chai, sabudana vada good; one time try. All food was fresh and hot. You could smell the aroma. Service - quick, warm and pleasant. Ambience - nice quirky Indian street style. Enjoyed my visit. And recommend it. Saw clean high chairs for babies and neat washrooms. Suggestion - please stop using paper cups for water. Use glass cups instead to protect environment. This place was busy on a weekday so I imagine the amount of paper used in use and throw cups. Vegetarian options: Good unique options that other East Indian restaurants don’t offer. Kid-friendliness: Have high chairs.
The vada pav was so yummy !! Highly recommend. I also tried pav bhaji and veg burger. Pav bhaji was great but burger was not upto mark. And extra star for chai … and chat was good too.Food: 5/5
