Myself and my family visit this restaurant often and each time the owners and staff are so warm and welcoming! We love going here and the food is always so delicious and hearty. The atmosphere is amazing and the function space upstairs is great for a small party. We booked it for my husband’s birthday one year and it was perfect! 10/10

I was there 4 months and had the fish and chips. I believe this was my 3rd visit and first time ordering fish and chips. Unfortunately I still think of that meal to this day. Chips were hot and tasty but the fish batter was awful, I’ve never experienced a batter that was so soggy . Batter should be crispy. Can’t remember what my wife ordered but must have been good as there was no discussion on hers. I did not mention anything in respect to the fish to the waitress but in hindsight should have. I haven’t been back since but this hasn’t deterred me, I just won’t order fish and chips again LOL. I remember looking at other people meals and thinking I should have ordered that as they all looked good. We will be attending a play soon across the street and will be suggesting this place for dinner or drinks with some friends. Just don’t order fish and chips. Perhaps it’s prepared differently now

Never heard about this place before trying it out last night. Went for dinner with a buddy and the food was excellent. Didn't get to try many items as we were on a time constraint as we had tickets to watch a show at Drums n Flats around the corner. We both had a burger and fries. Really fresh and tasty. Their fries are hand cut and they too were excellent. I will be going back for sure so I can try out some of their other menu items. Surprised I hadn't heard about this place before now. Will be back!

Sitting here now having a smash burger and a pint and just felt I had to review this welcoming loving place. My girlfriend and I live in Waterloo Region and we will be making the trip again to visit this lovely pub. The people make this place along with the great music selection and of course the food, FML great!

Had lunch at the The Village with a friend. The crispy chicken and pulled pork sandwich were very good as well as the fries that were perfectly done. Service was very friendly and quick. Highly recommended!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the friendly service, excellent homemade food and ambiance at the Village Public House, and we will be visiting again!

Nice local pub with friendly service and great selection of food. Tried the blue cheese burger and it was excellent. Will definitely be back.
