Went to Grillmore for the first time and the food was terrific. My wife loves the veggie burger and the onion rings were great especially the ring sauce. The price is reasonable and will definitely come back again.

I've driven past this place many times and finally decided to give them a try. It was only their second day open for the 2021 season. Their menu consists of burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, and fries, with variations of each. I decided on the Banquet Burger Combo, which included an 8oz homemade burger with cheese and bacon, fries, and a drink for only $14.00, including tax. I stepped up to the window to place my order and.. Hang on! What's this? A handwritten sign was posted next to the window with the day's special - Pulled Pork Sandwich with choice of Fries or Onion Rings, and a drink for only $12.00, including tax! Yesss! I'll have that! It was awesome, much better than I expected. There was a generous amount of meat piled into a fresh bun, along with some coleslaw and BBQ sauce. It ended up being a bit messy but absolutely delicious! This was a great tasting sandwich with very good texture! The crispy Onion Rings were also quite excellent and not greasy at all. Due to COVID restrictions, there was no seating available but they do have a covered area and a couple of oversized picnic tables. They'll also be adding a portable toilet on-site shortly. Yes, I did say portable toilet. This place is , after all, built from what appears to be a portable trailer. I will definitely be back to try that burger, and other things from their menu!

New ownership and the food is awesome. I had the banquet burger combo, & it was superb! Great staff, great chef and great food. Going back this week to buy a few dinners for the family. Highly recommended!

...just wanted to let you all know, we love Happy Grillmores Ajax lunch shack during the summer months, they have awesome homemade food, large portions and honest prices...it's one of our favorite spots. Now that the summer is over, he has pivoted to selling homemade soups for the fall for take home. We went and bought his potato and bacon for my wife, and the new England clam chowder for myself. Let me tell you, literally the best homemade soup for a cool fall dinner!! You will not be disappointed!!

All I can say is, wow!. While searching for building material with my hubby the other day, we came across this little "food shack" situated perfectly just at the entrance to Stephenson's tool rental in Pickering. My husband had been there before, where it was my first time, but certainly won't be the last. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries, and it was amazing! The owner, Bill informed me the homemade burger patties were just pressed before we came, and the fries are fresh cut and incredible.all toppings are fresh, and there are many choices to please your pallet, from burgers, dogs, fries, poutine, chicken, cheese steak, and peameal breakfast sandwiches and more! It's in the perfect spot for blue collars to grab an excellent lunch on their travels. Definitely recommend this place. Thanks Bill!!!

Burger tasted really fresh and was juicy. Gravy for the fries had great flavour. Owner was also very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely come again.
