Great restaurant! We stopped after out visit to the falls and had a great time. Our waitress was friendly, had fun with the kids. The food was awesome and came out rather quickly. They have a good selection of drinks, but the women didn't care for the coffee mixer. Overall, I'd be back next time I'm through town!Food: 5/5
What a great little restaurant! A wonderful menu which includes fresh, local Whitefish! It was perfect! Our waiter, Roland, was an expert server who really knows his foods and provided outstanding service. We will definitely return on future trips to St. Ignace.Service: 5/5
Service was a little bit slow but they were understaffed - nothing crazy, in fact, par for the course everywhere these days. Food was mostly delicious with the exception of the nachos minimal meat and French onion soup very salty. burgers and fries, sandwiches, turkey kale soup were all tasty. 200$ for 7 people, seemed a little over priced since we did not order alcohol.
In St Ignace for a cold night in Feb. Village Inn was a nice place to drop in, order great food and chill. Our server was on top of his game. I had Maple Chicken Breasts with the Traverse City Cherry Pilaf for those not in the know, Traverse City grows super amazing cherries.. Came with Brussel sprouts that were first flash deep fried then tossed in a honey n cherry of course! sauce. Sounds odd but was very very good. All the food was good. Beer list was substantial including IPAs. Worth your time and dining dollars!
Me and the family were visiting the area and decided on this place for dinner as a lot of places are closed for the season. Great service, friendly staff and atmosphere, and amazing drinks and food. Smaller place but right downtown was cozy and well maintained.
I read reviews that they are knowledgeable and had Gluten Free options, it’s also on their menus they have GF pasta and buns to accommodate. Reviews state the chef and server were understanding and offered other options outside of the menu. So I met a group of people here after a 4 hour drive and our server Emily states “since the new owners took over, burger is the only GF meat they have with the GF bun and no other GF options”, and they do not have any GF dressings for a salad. So I sat there while my group of friends ate. The reviews I read were 3-4 months ago. If you do not have GF pasta or a chef or owner that does not accommodate, the menu should definitely be updated. This place is a prime restaurant for travelers and is disheartening getting here and I find out there are no accommodations. Pro- clean establishment, great views! My friends food was out quick and reviewed it at 4*!
Food was mediocre at best. I had the whitefish while my guest got the beef medallions. Medallions were not cooked as requested, not even close and i truly stuggled to eat the whitefish with the tarter sauce which was as runny as my water. Never again.
We stop here any time we are in St. Ignace because the food is always good. It has a cool atmosphere and a very tasty Yooper coffee!
Came here recently with my family on vacation and was pleasantly surprised. We’ve actually been up to St. Igance 4 times but for some reason we’ve never thought to stop and eat here. But I’m glad we finally decided to try it. We ordered the steak bites and the Bavarian pretzel for appetizers. They were both very good but the pretzel and beer cheese was a real standout. I ordered the fiesta salad - it was huge, fresh, and delicious. There was a little too much cheese for my liking but it was an easy fix just to take some off. But otherwise it was a perfect salad. Also our server Chelsea was phenomenal. She was so personable, quick with the refills, and just very good at her job. Definitely try and stop here if you get the chance. We will absolutely be back next time we come to St. Igance!
Was recommended by a local, so we tried it out. It was very good! The staff were friendly and efficient. There was a nice view of the water. We started with the Bavarian pretzel and it was huge! Yummy. My husband had the Turkey croissant and soup. He said it was deleesh. I had the white fish sandwich and was tasty. Prices per norm of area.
