We called late on the Sunday night of the long weekend after being unable to secure any other place to put our heads down. We were met by a wonderful man who welcomed us with open arms. He started a bonfire so it would be warm on our arrival and set off some fireworks just for us! We were the only campers there and it was beautiful! A gorgeous view of the lake and the bathroom was clean! We can't thank him enough for answering his phone and welcoming us in an unforgettable way! Hope to be back up there one day where we can camp there again!

Loved this laid back casual place. It's a recreational centre for the parish. There are showers and toilets. We passed trailers galore packed into two other campgrounds to find this lovely camp with a kids soccer game going on and bonfire. To top it off, Father Peter delivered fire roasted sausages for our dinner.

It's a private religious camp ground that will probably allow a few campers for a donation or a bit of labour.
