I did an overnight stay with my family last Monday. We paid for an off-season price and were grateful to stay at this hotel. Most importantly the location was great. Everything was close to this area. There was a restaurant inside the hotel as well as a pub within walking distance.nnI never heard of any noise throughout the stay. It was pretty quiet since we stayed at penthouse. View was fantastic. Bed was comfortable and cozy. Gym and swimming pool werequiet. I got to use gym and swimming pool whenever convenient. Although didn’t experience any issues, breakfast was not complimentary. Aside from that everything was good!
It was a great experience for us from staying at Marriott. Very friendly and helpful staffs, especially the services from Jeff that was working at the night and Ether Stella that was working in the morning at the front counter. Excellent check in and check out experience, Ether even saved us a parking charge. We had 2 rooms with one vehicle and she propped us with a few questions with the staying then found out we were be charge for 2 vehicle charges. She quickly fixed the mistake we had.nnThis is definitely one of the friendliest and best hotel stayed experience we had. Thank you Ether, Jeff and all of your awesome staffs. We will definitely stay with you nextnTime we visit Victoria.
Overall a wonderful experience. From the moment we got there to the moment we left, we were taken care of with the best kindness and service. Our room was a nice upgrade, and one of the nicer rooms I've stayed at with Marriott.nnMy only concern was our room was supposed to be a king bed, and it surely wasn't the size of a king. The staff assured us this was the king bed, but we have one at home and this felt like a queen sized bed. Usually not a big deal, but our young kids like to join us in the bed in the mornings and in a true king bed there's enough room. There definitely wasn't here.nnOtherwise, the entire stay was great. The staff in the M Lounge were super friendly, and also very patient and accomodating of our young kids. Food in the M Lounge and the restaurant in the lobby was decent, basically what I was expect from a Marriott.nnThe location is just steps away from the busy parts of downtown Victoria, but you're about a block away from where the noise begins. Was very quiet in our area, but a quick walk and you're in the middle of it all.nnThe underground secured parking lot was full, but because we paid for parking, they gave us valet parking for no additional charge. I felt that was a fair compromise, and their valets were super kind and always on the go.nnWe'll definitely be coming back again.
This was already my fourth trip to Victoria and I usually stay at other Bonvoy hotel in Victoria. This time I decided to try Marriott Inner harbor and I’m so glad I did.nThe view and night scenery might not be as dramatic as some of the waterfront hotels, but the location is unbeatable. It’s right in the lively part of town, the rooms are spacious, the bathroom is great, and above all, the service is incredibly warm and friendly.nAs an Ambassador member, I always appreciate the little welcome treats at Bonvoy hotels, and the one here honestly touched me the most. Such a thoughtful gesture.nFrom now on, this is definitely going to be my go-to hotel whenever I come to Victoria.
This place extremely went down hill. Especially the M club lounge staff. I have never experienced such racial discrimination in my entire life. Thanks to saidey young women with short hair and taller. management will you hire new staff. Just last year M club was an incredible experience. Much better staff back then. I won’t be back! will spread the word.
