Best Italian food in the Catskills. Tucked away in Hensonville this place has a great wrap-around bar that is perfect for eating at if you are alone. Bar tender is always friendly and makes great menu suggestions. Two restaurant sections, one next to the bar and the other in a large room away from the bar. Perfect for a romantic dinner or large group.

I've eaten here as part of a group through a program at Windham Mountain. The staff is nice and they offer us a set menu with a few options to choose from. Very reasonabley priced and the food is good. I think my only complaint is the charge for water.

Joe has the best place! Great food and atmosphere! I challenge you to find a better restaurant anywhere in New York State!

Let me start with the positives: our waitress and Joe, the owner, were absolutely splendid people to interact with. The decor was warm and cozy. However, the food is so so and overpriced. Most of the dishes is made from either dry pasta or frozen .. only the specials are fresh. Which I would be okay with if it were not priced at $20 a plate.

A wonderful Sicilian/Italian dinner experience! We visited while skiing at Windham, and I'm not sure if it was the ski induced hunger, or the great food, most likely combination of both. But we all found the meals exemplary. The wait staff were on point, and the chef did not mind customizing a couple items from our orders to our particular taste. Everything we ordered, whether modified to our taste or original per the menu, came out perfect. The bar was not shy when it came to pouring a stiff vodka martini. I don't really look at prices while ordering, and I expected a bill of around $250 (including a few drinks) for our party of 3 (including a child) + an extra entré because we wanted it for the table. When the tab arrived at only $165, my honest nature required that I double-check to make sure they didn't forget anything. The next time we come to Windham, we plan to eat every possible meal here. If I had to criticize, it would not be about the bar, food, or the staff. The only thing I would ask for is some WiFi for the patrons because there is no cell reception. It's 2018, which means it's well past time to add a guest wifi network and/or a microcell device.
