Vernon Jubilee Hospital

Vernon Jubilee hospital has been a great experience for me, The nurses are exceptional and they always go above and beyond your requirements and listen to your needs. I came in through the emergency room for mental health reasons and was put in as an inpatient and I've been here almost 3 months here now . I have posted pictures outside of the hospital from the emergency room/ south entrance and across the street from the main doors You can locate the Polson care home facility as well as inside maps for levels. I hope the photos help! Definitely a great place to go without judgement from workers and there is a bus stop right in front of Polson towers bus#6 that'll take you downtown. There's also plenty of parking for you to choose from. There are also two cafes and a gift shop that is inside the main building that are full of nice little goodies. Enjoy!

Always a great experience at the Jubilee. The staff are so wonderful to my mom, Valerie, even though she can be tough sometimes. The care and kindness they show her every time is incredible. Couldn't ask for better people.

All staff from Emergency to surgery were exceptional. I can't say enough of how wonderfully personable and comforting they were. They diagnosed my issue and dealt with it in a very professional manner. Thank you

I was an ER patient with a heart issue. Expecting to have to maybe wait, etc, I was pleasantly surprised and so very impressed with the immediate care given by the nurses, doctor and even housekeeping !!! Thank you so much for taking such good care of me.nAlthough we had lived in Vernon some years ago, this time I was a visitor !!nAgain, service could not have been any better !!!!

The Vernon Jubilee Hospital VJH needs to transition from paper documentation to an online system for patient care. It is disheartening that in the year 2024, a Canadian hospital still relies on paper records, while even some developing nations have adopted online systems. North America has historically been at the forefront of medical technology, making it surprising to observe nurses and doctors at VJH utilizing paper charts, leading to notable delays in patient care. personally observed my father, who was suffering from severe cancer-related pain, waiting for up to three hours while nurses documented notes in charts. Upon receiving medication, the nursing staff were unable to provide explanations regarding its purpose or potential side effects. In contrast, European and Asian medical professionals use mobile computers along the patient's bedside with all needed information for the staff to access medications, history, alert alerts, and offer comprehensive explanations of medications and their effects, thereby minimizing the risk of errors.nThe current situation at VJH is unacceptable, and it raises significant concerns regarding the quality of care provided. As a result, I have lost trust in this hospital and will not consider seeking care for any of my family members there in the future due to concerns about their well-being.
