Best salon in town, not just cause I work here. I truly believe that this Velardé Salon & Spa is great!

1.0 star rating 1/12/2018 Had my hair done by a newbie (Tatiana) during the holidays. The next day, while shampooing my hair, I heard all this crackling noise. Apparently, the stylist did not rinse the hair color she put in my hair. I also don't know if she mixed the chemicals correctly. I had a lot of hair loss. I now have only half the amount of hair I did before. I called Velarde's to discuss this and asked for the owner. Well the owner, Melissa, wouldn't even come to the phone. Melissa insisted I speak with the "office manager." I was told the stylist who did my hair, is no longer at this salon. I asked for my money back and they offered me a discount on my next visit. Melissa wanted me to come in and "prove" I lost my hair. First, I have absolutely no reason to go into this salon and argue with the owner. Melissa is not even mature enough to come to the phone, or call me back at a better time, to handle my complaint. Secondly, I have before and after pictures. I have been going to this salon since the 80's and deserve much better treatment. I am sure they don't care, but I am never stepping foot in this salon again.

Raquel rocks color and knows how to cut a straight line! Thats worth 20 stars in my book. Id highly recommend Velarde’ based on talent, friendliness, pricing and product availability.
