I rented some speakers, speaker stands, and mics for a wedding. Chris was very helpful in explaining how to use the equipment, and also showed me how to set everything up. He also included an aux cable for no additional cost. After picking up the equipment and returning home, I noticed that one of the speakers was missing a knob to secure it to the stand. I called Chris to ask about the missing knob and he said the speaker should be secure enough on the stand without it if I did not want to drive back to the shop. For safety reasons I decided it would be better to drive back to the shop to pick up the missing piece. On the day of the wedding, the sound quality of the speakers was great and more than loud enough for our indoor venue. However, one of legs on the speaker stand was not working, and had to be propped up. The bluetooth mics would sometimes disconnect/reconnect, which was very disruptive during our ceremony and speeches. Chris offered a refund on the defective stand and the mics. Overall, the speakers were worth the price. But since the mics did not work 100% of the time, it may have been better not to use those at all.
We rented 3 speakers and stands and a wireless mic for our backyard wedding and had a great experience. Very responsive leading up to the event and I had a lot of probably dumb questions. Our friend picked up the equipment for us and said the guy who set her up provided really great directions. We also had some minor issues one of the stands was broken but we only ended up needing two speakers anyway, and some issues with the mic that were probably just user error and they immediately provided a refund for all of that. Even though the mic was most certainly just a user error as it worked for drop off. All in all a really professional and responsive service and would definitely hire equipment from them again. Prices were also very reasonable from what I checked out!
First time rental and excellent experience! Chris had equipment ready for pickup at appointed time and gave overview of everything. Written instructions included. Equipment worked well and was easy to use/set-up. Appreciated being able to pick up in Burnaby instead of downtown Vancouver. Will be returning customer if equipment needed in future.
Awesome service! I had a last minute event to organize and had little knowledge of what type of equipment I needed. The staff were incredibly helpful and also kept me within my budget! Thank you to Chris and everyone at Vancouver Projector Rentals! What could have been a super stressful weekend turned into a beautiful time and an awesome event! Many thanks
Terrible service! - Error at the beginning on the order 1 screen and a projector, whereas I had asked for two screens - I specified the situation during the order, a professional presentation on a boat, requiring screens, the number of people and room were communicated in order to be well advised for the equipment, no advice, you are submitted a list with prices. - 1 month after the order, a few days before the event, I realize that they did not provide projectors with the screens, nor splitter nor other necessary equipment, yet when I ordered, I had specified that we only had a computer, and therefore needed a functional equipment. - The worst thing: one month before they had the address, the name of the boat that hosts the equipment, they delivered despite that the equipment to the hotel, saying that "it is at a walking distance with the boat"! two screens, two projectors and the necessary cables delivered to my colleague at the hotel who is alone and without the possibility of carrying all that to the boat, so she asks the delivery man to take the equipment to the boat at the location provided in our order, the delivery man begrudges and the company charges us $35 more for that, they who said it was within walking distance! - Since they were unable to pick up the material at 9pm after our 3 hours of presentation, we had found an arrangement with the boat so that they would come and pick up the material on the 2nd day after the event, of course that was charged too for that no problem we can understand, on the other hand the day before the pick up, we are under a lot of pressure to pay the extra charge right away without delay, otherwise they were not going to pick up the material and we would be charged again every day that passed! I remind you that the only person of our company on the spot was in conference, that we were going to pay the bill soon enough, but they refuse categorically, according to them, their procedures are not going to change! no immediate payment of the supplement, no reservation of material recovery! - 1st and last experience with this company, I absolutely do not recommend it, tons of email exchanges for nothing, no listening to the customer, no response to the customer's needs, and obviously no professionalism.
Chris was super knowledgeable, friendly and thorough. Pick up went smoothly, and I had zero problems with the equipment. I would definitely rent from them again!
We rented projectors and screens to be used at our trade show exhibits on multiple occasions. The equipment rented out was top notch and we never had any problems several times we rented them. Their friendly staff made sure we were confident with how to use the equipment and went through all the details with us before we take it in front of our customers. They made sure they understood our setup thoroughly and offered various projector options with different features to make our presentations stand out from others'. Excellent company to work with. They provide fast communication and the most professional service. I highly recommend Vancouver Projector Rentals and look forward to working with them for many years to come.
We were looking for the right equipment for our mural project. Chris was a pleasure do deal with. He provided us with helpful advise, made sure that we got what we needed by testing different projector models with us. He is knowledgable and cares about his clients. Service was fantastic. The equipment worked perfectly. We couldn't be happier. Would for sure come back. Highly recommend!
Pretty happy with the service! I needed a projector screen the next day and they were able to accommodate. They responded very quickly over email. Rental fee of $40 for a medium-sized screen was also reasonable! Their location was convenient enough for me to pick up and drop off the screen so did not need to pay for delivery fees.
Our team at the United Nations Foundation used Vancouver Projector Rentals for a very high level event and we were very happy with their amazing service! The AV technician was extremely professional and efficient in setting up the equipment, showing our staff how to use the technology, troubleshooting issues, and packing up everything after the event. We could not have had a better experience! I highly recommend their services for any occasion.
