Value Village

To the employee who put these on the shelf, you suck! They were packaged so tight with all the fronts facing each other so you couldn't see this damage until my little girl opened them! SHAME!! She's now crying so I hope you pay better attention next time!! We live over 2 hours away and she's been excited for months to get some toys to get this.

I’ve been to a lot of Vale Village stores, and I’ve come to expect the prices to be higher than they once were. But today at this store I was offended by the grossly and unreasonably priced items. A set of DVDs for $100 that is the same price new on Amazon. A pair of scratched and damaged vinyls for $100 that are $30 on Discogs mint. A set of China for $150. This isn’t an antique store and someone doesn’t know how to research value. I won’t be visiting this VV again.

They never have workers on registers and put the black strap barriers and force lines to do self check out. Lazy

I have visited Value Village twice and really liked the overall aura. I also gifted myself two light weight jackets and donated my old snow and winter shoes. That exchange got me a free coupon earned too.

Not always the best experience at Value Village! But there is a lot of stuff there but sometimes stuff are very pricey even if it’s a second-hand store but they have lots of stuff, also some days they have paw patrol plushies, toys and other stuff from paw patrol which is an amazing kids tv show and I actually love to collect paw patrol sometimes! But thrift prices even at local second-hand stores are almost the same nowadays! One thing, barely any human cashiers available there! It’s all self checkout and also the worse part, no cash at the self checkouts at all just debit card and credit card! Those self checkouts could be a problem if there’s a nationwide outage or a cyberattack happening! I recommend that store even if prices are too much to ask!
