Value Village is a treasure trove for anyone who loves thrifting and finding unique items at affordable prices. The store offers a wide range of products, from clothing and shoes to home goods and accessories. One of the best things about Value Village is the variety, you can find both everyday essentials and quirky, one-of-a-kind pieces.nnThe staff are generally helpful and friendly, and the store layout is organized enough to make browsing relatively easy, though some sections can feel a bit crowded. Pricing is reasonable for the quality, and they frequently have sales that make finding a bargain even more satisfying.nnIf you’re patient and enjoy hunting for hidden gems, Value Village is definitely worth a visit. It’s perfect for budget-conscious shoppers, students, or anyone looking to refresh their wardrobe without breaking the bank.
Fairly good clothing selection, and there’s other things to choose from.... but the bathrooms are very poorly cleaned and maintained…dirt and dust everywhere…the whole store could certainly use a fresh and vibrant paint.. it’s quite drab for a thrift store. The shopping baskets are all filthy..Love to see this place put money back into the esthetics of it… could be way nicer of an experience for everyone. Something more uplifting.
This is one of the best places for thrifting. Either you donate or buy goods for cheap prices. One of the best place to buy stuff you need without spending tons of money. Its name value village showcase the value of goods and it’s true to its name. If you go to the Walmart, superstore or any other place to shop you might end up paying more money but here less than half of the price you can get equally good products on cheap price. The catch is that, you need sharp eyes and should know what do you need instead of what do you want.
The checkout area is freaky, staff just stand there staring at you while you’re trying to scan your items, sometimes interrupting you to ask if you have points or coupons as it shows on the screen already. You often can’t use cash at all, which can be inconvenient.nnPricing is so inconsistent too, I’ve seen a wrinkly, used flannel shirt for $18.99, next to one that’s nearly the same for $7.99. Even some ripped, poop stained jeans will go for like $20 which is wild. They also sell visibly broken electronics for very high prices, with no exchange or return policy.nnThey usually have a pretty decent selection of cool stuff so I can’t totally complain, but there are definite issues. This store should be a place to find affordable goods!
Staff are absolutely atrocious. They will leave you standing at the counter waiting to see an item for 5-10 minutes while two of them talk in the corner, others will make eye contact with you and walk away when you talk to them, not to mention they have 3 staff standing around to watch 4 self checkout machines, when they have 4 more self checkout they leave closed and the line takes so much longer then it they just either opened the machines or just cashiered themselves. They also treat you like an idiot whenever their stupid machine scanner can't read a tag then then they twiddle their thumbs when they realise they can't do it either. I did not go to value village to deal with sassy power tripping cashiers. And obviously the prices are set at corporate or whatever and they just categorize things but let's not let slip that $6-12 for a single dirty paper back book is beyond outrageous and honestly comical that that's the point we are at where companies get shelves of this next to worthless stuff free and just let it sit there for years at ridiculous prices because they would rather sell one item for 10 dollars then actually provide a useful service to people in need
